Yeahyeahyeah. Real nice for all the folks who actually have access to Netflix. For us who don't, i just get more and more envious. Cheers from Norway

I totally agree!

If netflix were available in Canada, I'd scoop that up in a second!

If you want it in your countries. Get the content providers (WB, Fox et al) to allow netflix/microsoft to release it to your areas.

Yeah i had this for about one month and the video selection wasn't very great. (except for lock, stock and two smoking barrels). Now i just stream movies from my PC to my Xbox with Tversity its much better that way.

Actually, 1 million sounds like a low number to me. 360 owners are really missing out if they don't have a Netflix subscription to compliment their Live subscription. It's like adding thousands of movies and TV shows to your library.

That picture isn't accurate. I put Unforgiven on my instant queue and then after it registered on Netflix that I was using a 360, it kicked it out. Now I can't add it to my instant queue again.

Hey how about a news story about the Tuesday update bricking thousands of xboxs? That should lower the netflix numbers a bit.

The service is good, I just can't afford even nine more dollars per month in more worthless frivolities than I already use. So after the demo period, I shut it off. I was definitely surprised by it, though. I was expecting Youtube, with half-assed buffering, but the system they use is actually pretty impressive.

But yeah. College doesn't allow the time OR money for that sort of thing. Cheap, old, used video games? Yeah. One new one every year or maybe half year if there are a couple really good ones? Yeah. Netflix?

...Eh.

Instead of more content, I would much rather have consistent streaming speeds first. I have no issues watching things in the middle of the day but between 6-10pm PST it is almost unwatchable. I'm using a wired connection and a speed test from my laptop while the quality is crappy shows 9MBs down and 1mb up. I've read a lot of Time Warner people experience this but if I stream from my laptop the quality looks fine. Confusing, but I just want a clear picture without seeing "we're adjusting blah blah"!!

lovin the netflix streaming right now.. the instant HD selection is absolutely pathetic: its pretty obvious to me they gimped the service so it doesnt compete with the overpriced xblVM..

the instant SD selection is pretty extensive, lotta movies to pick from and pretty good quality too.. again, its been gimped so a lot of popular and new releases arent available. prime example: the only batman for instant watch is the 1966 Adam West 'Batman: The Movie'.

i dont plan on using the Netflix mail order service at all and i never ever buy videos on xblVM. m$ should really buy/partner with netflix and bundle the subscriptions together. ill pay a lil more a year for streaming movies and tv shows.

also, they really need to add a browsing feature: i hate going to the website to queue up content. i should be able to browse everything i wanna watch through my 360.

theres too man steps for me to recommend it to my friends or parents. its still a borderline hardcore feature, they need to bring it closer to the mainstream or i dont think those 1m sign ups will stick around..

(its clear m$ is not gonna help us with codecs and software updates to watch our own movies and im sick of tryin to convert files so my 360 can play them. half the time the movies dont play or the sound is out of sync.

i want my 360 to be the center of my entertainment system but for now its just a gaming machine. sorry for the long posts, im feelin wordy today..

Forget about adding a Netflix browser. Just add an internet browser. Huzzah! Problem solved.

I signed up recently and it's ok so far. My guess is a year from now there won't be much I want to watch and I'll cancel then. Once I feel "caught up" enough with movies I missed in the theater. Unless, of course, they start getting current seasons of TV shows on there. I thought I had seen that advertised but so far I see no current seasons available.

How about Netflix in the UK if it has been so popular in the US?
