LOL you make it sound like a chore! A friend is going, where i was going to skip out , but i see some booths that i would like to visit.

DC Universe Online, um, Penny Arcade, Mad World, X Men Origins just to name a few. Knowing my luck, tickets will be sold out. (as i type this).

No they won't. If you can't get one online, you can score one at the Javits center. They should be selling them.

That's a pretty impressive game company presence. Kind of makes me wish I lived in the NYC area. Oh wait I do!

Keep me updated Joystiq.

I don't know, the whole idea of a "for-profit" comic-con seems incredibly greedy. Like, the really intense type of greed where you won't even support it to see awesome stuff, like.....uh.....the new wonder woman animated movie? yea, like I said, awesome stuff.

I totally agree.. WTF is up with these ticket prices??! I remember them being $5-10.00!!! they are so overcharging, it's robbery!!!

I will be there Sunday.. Kids are free so I'm bringing my son.. Can't wait!!

Maybe I'll pick a fight with one of the promoters for some price payback!

Hit up the SEGA booth, they've got oodles of Wii goodness out there.

Wouldn't be that hard for me to go (from Philly) but i don't have tickets.

Be sure to stop by the Kirby Krackle booth and pick up their debut CD. It's very comic book/gamer centric music. Good stuff!

I agree with Starcasm. I've gone to lots of shows. How can they charge as much as San Diego when San Diego's center is like 5 times the size and is 5 days long. WonderCon in San Francisco is the size of this show and a one day pass is less than $15, I think 3 days is only $30.

These guys are a ripoff.
