Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 swoops onto game consoles everywhere later this year. In it, characters from the pages of your favorite funny-books will band together in teams and fuse power like never before. The latest trailer for MUA2 shows off some of the special fusion techniques players can expect. Ignite a tornado formed by Storm as the Human Torch, deflect Iron Man's energy blasts as Wolverine; combine any ability to create devastating attacks in battle versus evil-doers.
So far, the game looks interesting. What doesn't look even remotely interesting is Iron Man's character model. He looks like a hobo who uses the box he lives in as his suit to fight crime. Check out the trailer after the break.

Either they got Spidermans outfit wrong or he used the ability of the new suit to put his old outfit

I looooooooove Marvel Comics and am always willing to try out any of their games.
This makes me excited since it's not movie-based and the original was pretty good.

I'm glad they went with Civil War and I'm looking forward to it, but the cinematics don't look as good as the last game's.
Iron Man looks good for most part and a good recreation of McNiven's, but he is a little angular. Cable doesn't look too great in the background there, but I'm glad to see him there at least.

Is it just me, or does the trailer look AWESOME? Don't know about the game though.

Marvel has been on a world-wide event kick for the past few years now--essentially, since Quesada took over. Civil War was, by far, the longest and highest-selling event. I don't know exactly how long it lasted, but it seemed to be well over a year, not including all of the followup issues and the books that got behind on schedule.
Civil War established Tony Stark as an evil government pawn and Captain America was killed in the aftermath.
So yes, it was kind of a big deal.

I hope for one of three things, or all three would be nice too:
A) they add Marvel Zombie characters as unlockables, or at least unlockable costumes for each character.
B) they add a zombie mode, where you pick your superhero and try to survive from the Marvel Zombie onslaught (much like the Nazi Zombie bit in COD WaW.) It would be more or less a "mini" game, but fun nonetheless.
C) The make the next Marvel Ultimate Alliance game a Marvel Zombies game.
