We may not all get to go to New York Comic-Con and meet the Platinum Games crew, but we get to watch this MadWorld trailer in the comfort of our own homes, without the din of thousands of shuffling fanboys drowning out the crunching noises and rock. It's about one minute of all-new footage, full of punching, kicking, throwing, and wrist-mounted-chainsawing.
Given that this is a MadWorld trailer and thus violence is happening in almost every frame, you'll find it safely tucked away after the break. Speaking of violence, pause on the ESRB rating and check out the content descriptors! Yeesh. They almost ran out of space.
I was afraid from the first ever debut trailer that the camera would be pretty stiff. But now I see thats not the case and in terms of gameplay, it looks fluent, sturdy, and most of all it looks damn fun.
just went to comic con yesterday and went hands on with madworld, conduit, hotd, and many others.
i'll say madworld was the most fun out of the 3. when the action was upclose the front of the screen in madworld it was a bit difficult to read how many enemies I was fighting, where they were, but a quick press of B and swipe with the remote was all it took to cut guys in half with my chainsaw arm. btw the satisfaction of the ridiculous killings makes you feel so warm inside and you actually smile and saw to yourself "omg wtf did that just really happen "
the conduit was difficult to control and see. it was very dark to see too. granted i was talking to the developers during the playtime mostly. changing controls on the fly was awesome though. and later when I was watching other people play it seemed the controls didn't bother them so it was probably just me. I confirmed with the developers that online functions flawlessly at 30 fps WITH WiiSpeak.
Will definitely pick up madworld and the conduit.
hotd overkill was alot more fun than i expected AND more difficult as well.
sonic and the dark knight LOOKED to play extremely similar to sonic and the secret rings, rentable. as if that wasn't obvious
Overlord - though was pre alpha stage was looking great. couldn't go hands on but the environments looked great and interactive. breaking carts of pumpkins and such. The max amount of minions you're allowed is 25 where as 360 can hold 50. theres no online capabilities unlike 360 which has co op and more. still at this early stage and lacking features overlord will be a top tier fantasy themed game giving pikmin 3 a run for it's money. The game is due out in JUNE!
Watched ghostbusters being played and talked with the devs. The developers were actually shocked with the wii game because although it lacks much from ps3/360 it was the game that everyone wanted to play the longest and who kept coming back to play. confirming the wii version is THE version to get.
Overall the games with hype right now... ARE living up to that hype. I cannot wait to own these games and be playing them from my couch.

deadly creatures was a great game. that was very enjoyable to play and different. I would suggest buying this or hotd:overkill if I could only buy 1 game coming out soon.
