Can microsoft use all those options? :P

This is pretty good news, now you'll be able to show off your achievements with your avatar, hopefully they actually reward you for the challenging achievements so you can actually feel cool for wearing what you unlocked :D

this is what avatar clothing should be about. I would love a Vault 101 jumpsuit for getting all the achievements in Falout 3.

i have to agree....something like that needs to be totally awesome. also, they can't be traded or swapped. It needs to be something really exclusive. It can even be separate from the regular 1000 point achievements. I also hope the make it retroactive so publishers can make stuff, then do a compare with your account to see if you got 1000 points of achievements for something really cool. Make a separate closet for achievement clothes.

I hope they do something. I like avatars, but you don't have many options. I just want that damn black hoody that I have seen in pics of avatars. I guess that it is an option for other countries or something. Hoodys is all I wear in life, and they have some gay looking hoodys that are all unzipped....I want a regular black hoody with no zipper. I have seen it, I just have no idea why you see pics of it on avatars but yet you can not choose it here in the states.

Achievement tie-in will make the avatars more meaningful. Right now, they are useless. There is no need for them. It's not like XBL is Home or Second Life or something.

And in fact, unlockable clothings is kinda pretty cool.

yeah. like wearing that t-shirt with the gears symbol on it. or even a master chief helmet. maybe the big daddy drill or holding a basketball from NBA LIVE 09.

just imagine the possibilities. and then your avatar would truly represent who you are. and plus ive always felt that the friends chanel backgrounds should be depended on genre of game being played its so stupid when they show musical instruments for someone playing COD and a basketball court for someone playing rock band.

I want an Agent 47 costume, with the Fibre Wire.
Or the Half Life 2 suit.
Or Fallout 3 Power Armour.

even more important: having something to do with your avatar. theres only a few avatar enabled games on xbla and most dont use the avatars as much more than a replacement for gamerpics.

ill be surprised to see unlockable avatar clothes before the 720 is announced.. if they werent ready when the nxe launched theyre never gonna do it right..
