Since these are older games, I wonder if they would run on a Samsung NC10 netbook?

You could probably get the original Ghost Recon, Island Thunder and Desert Siege games to run. No chance in hell of getting GRAW or GRAW 2 to run on it.

Yea, you should have no problem running the original Ghost Recon games

I have a Sony VGN-FW290 and it runs GRAW 2 at about 26fps at 1600x900 with lowest settings

That is amazing. Does anyone know how active the online is for all or any of those games?

This is Steam's weekly weekend sale. It'll last until the end of the day Sunday.

check the UBI forums, that should give you an idea how active they are. I know the 360 still has a pretty active community for GRAW2.

Steam how I hate thee so much at times.

I guess it's kinda good that I was never a big fan of the Ghost Recon series. Tactical shooters never worked for me. I can save some money for once during a Steam sale weekend.

Just got it. Downloading the old school Ghost Recons first. Great deal. Anyone plan on playing some multiplayer later tonight?

GRAW 2 is worth $19.99 on its own. Definitely a good deal if you haven't played that game yet

Hmm, I was a real fan of the original trio (never managed to finish the last two though). Are the two Advanced Warfighter games alone worth it?

Yay I didnt get the shaft from steam this time. Even though I own/played through most of these games I would still buy it on steam and these companies put these silly restrictions on them for nothing.

this is a really really nice deal, unless you already own half of them.

Cracking deal. Was an insta-buy as soon as I saw it in reader.

However: I download the original Ghost Recon first, loaded it up, and it was Island Thunder. Odd I thought. Opened up the Island Thunder GR encase the were mixed up. Nope, both were Island Thunder. :(

Anyone else having this issue?

It loads the Island Thunder title screen but you should be able to play any of the campaigns of the other Ghost Recon games you have installed.
