Tabula Rasa adds mech suits in final weeks of operation

If you've been intrigued by Tabula Rasa, but couldn't be hassled to, you know, purchase it, it's free to play now. Just don't get too attached -- the game's servers are going down on February 28, at which point Garriott's final project with NCSoft will have an ironic, though extremely appropriate moniker.

A friend of mine almost bought this game yesterday. Thankfully I happened to be around and stopped him before he blew his money.
All things aside, the mech suits look pretty cool. It's always a shame when game servers shut down.

Played the beta, thought it was all right, it was technical problems that stopped me buying the game (constant stuttering).

Had so much hope for this project. Too bad it was mismanaged so badly. Always thought it would've been great as a Guild Wars style-game. No monthly, just pay for expansion (planets), focus on PVP/battleground type stuff as the endgame.

Ugh, this type of stuff hurts my stomach. It's so damn sad seeing a game being shut down... especially knowing how much time they put into it. My bro knew a couple of guys that worked on it. It's a total shame.
