Hinkle, were you listening to NPR today before writing this? That song was playing for one of their stories and it was just way too coincedental.

Actually, no, not a NPR listener myself. Basically, I tried to think of a song so bad that, should you get caught listening, it would get you killed by your biker gang buddies. That's when I thought of "Barbie Girl."

Radio Broker! I had that station on 90% of the time. That's a big plus for me when deciding whether to buy the DLC.

Now now, let's avoid using any memes or jokes that Kotaku has driven into the ground.

Crecente is still a bitch.

(but yes, I do comment there now and then)

Yes, and now they're nu metal. And have been since the mid-90s. And Soulfly is HORRIBLE.

And "tight" is something a Korn fan would say, or a rap fan might have said 10 years ago.

Actually, if they had a different drummer you could call them nu-metal. However, the drummer they have right now classifies them more as "groove metal" than anything else.

And Cavalera Conspiracy was a good side-project from Max. Some of that pure brutality and tribal roots (bloody roots!) from sept is there, mainly in songs such as "Nevertrust", "Must Kill", "Sanctuary", and "Dark Ark".

Groove metal is practically another term for nu-"metal." It's pathetic, Raffi-esque stuff made for the Wal-Mart crowd.

As for you, David HInkle, assuming you weren't being sarcastic -- don't let some troll get you done!

This seems like an impressively robust bit of DLC which I find myself actually kind of looking forward to. I was initially annoyed at the long wait but considering the insane holiday flurry of games it probably wouldn't have interested me before now. Besides it takes a little time for my GTA-jonesing to replenish itself.

Could they just allow me to change the music in the bar when I'm playing pool because the goddamn game wants me to play pool with another person when I instead should be out being a criminal?

I never want to hear that damn reggae station again.

Excited for this DLC... It seems like they are going to chance the way DLC is approached by developers, which is a good thing...

@Halo2Master - Fusion Radio was easily my favorite station in IV. Wish they had some new tunes. Love riding through the city at night playing some intelligent jazz fusion

I was a little dissapointed with the alt rock and non heavy metal rock that was available in the game. I'm sorry, but so much of the stuff on Broker, and especially Liberty Rock Radio wasn't rock. So much of the music featured synthesizers and no guitar (or hidden guitar). It was a severe dissapointment (Especially Liberty Rock Radio). I can give Broker a pass for going the route of tech-alternative. But you can't have 3 rock songs on a pop station and call it Liberty Rock Radio.

I'm just hoping for a little more rock and a little less synthesizer is all.
