A recent interview with Kikizo reveals some details on this mysterious zombie-infested game, first revealed at TGS last year. Although it's meant to be largely an action game, there is an element of strategy. Every enemy you encounter in the game can be transformed into a zombie, and these zombies all have unique characteristics. "An example of the variety of zombies is a soldier whose main weapon is using bombs, and when that turns into a zombie it can still throw bombs at the soldiers who are alive."
Your zombie minions will be used in new and interesting ways throughout the game. For example, you may need to use your zombies to build a ladder to overcome an obstacle. You may need a certain number of zombies to shake a gate. Your zombies will be more than just brain-hungry monsters.
