Wanted: Weapons of Fate demo on March 5

According to a F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin promo insert (Xbox 360 version pictured), a demo for Wanted: Weapons of Fate is set to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store on March 5.

Developed by GRIN (of Bionic Commando Rearmed fame), Wanted: Weapons of Fate takes place five hours after the events of the 2008 action flick based on the same comic book property. Like a list of games as long as our arm, Wanted will feature bullet-time and (more creatively) the ability to curve bullets around the environment. Basically, it's the most realistic game ever.

I swear I saw this movie in theaters only last year :)

There is no way I would buy this game. The only good reason to see the movie is because you are high and have the dough (and AGELINA) ...brah, lol.

just one quick thing, idk if its relevant or not, but it came out in summer 2008...just saying. On topic: i'll probably download this just to see how the game's like. I'm almost 100% sure this is going to be a rent for me anyways.

I really just do not like the look, style and feel of the game...Especially that it is based on a movie. The characters and the enemies look ridiculous and that bullet curved thing almost seems unnecessary.

I saw the video and I agree the curve bullet thing is HIGHLY unnecessary unless the AI is VERY intelligent.

This game will only have peoples interest for the curving of the bullets business. As a person who does not care about movie adapated video games, I'll quickly overlook it. However, I'll be awaiting the next big title that'll incorporate the bullet curvig business because in the end, it is pretty cool. BTW, Wanted sucked as a movie.

i swear after this movie came out, in MGO a lot of players started to curve bullets....

I don't think I'd buy this game even if it scored as well as Killzone, just because the movie looked so freakin dumb. Sorry if this offends anyone, but come on, they're shooting bullets like you'd throw a curve ball? Give me a freaking break. I could see a trailer for that movie being pitched as a Matrix parody on SNL it's so bad.

On another note, this would be a perfect candidate for that move-and-a-game on a single Blu-Ray idea Sony was talkin about.

Don't see how it's so dumb. Same people said that the Matrix was dumb because of

"Slow bullets? What the hell? Bullets are supposed to be fast, what the hell is going on!"

No I'm not comparing Wanted to the Matrix in terms of quality. But just give it a chance. It was really over-the-top and crazy. Although the story was shite.

the story was shite because the movie story wasn't even close to the comic story. like, i mean it's almost completely different.

You know a movie is going to be absolute shit when:

1) Within the first 10:00 a dude jumps out of the window, kills a bunch of people while falling, and then with ZERO fucking explanation appears behind a dude on the roof he was jumping towards and caps his ass.

2) wax + hot tub allows you to recover from broken bones, bullet wounds, knife stabs and near terminal falls. Fuck the god damn Hospital.

3) the whole cheesy "that dude we told you to kill is your dad and you've been lied to this whole time and now we're gonna kill you!" wow what a shitasticly predictable plot twist"

4) Magic loom wtf?

the only redeeming quality this movie had was when whats his name told his fat bitch of a boss to fuck off.

If only it was based on the Graphic Novel (or comic, I'm not sure what's the difference). The movie sucked big time, the novel was good.

There was no "curving of bullets" in the comic.

At least we got the costume

I also don't understand people who praise the comic so much and dismiss the film as "stupid". The comic was so juvenile and annoying. It's like they thought they would get +10 edgy points with the kids by making the guy look like Eminem and make him say "Fuck" alot.

Let just say.... ..... If you have a big enough magnet, anyone CAN CURVE A MOTHER F ING BULLETS!!!

I thought the movie was pretty decent. But gameplay footage I saw for this about a month ago worried me. It looked terrible. The framerate was clunky and the graphics were sub-par.

Who cares it's gonna suck anyhow.

and it is set AFTER the movie ends so technically it probably has an original story

hey i didnt have high hopes for geometry wars cuz u just attack random shapes but after i played it i was hooked so like give this game a chance
