Now let's take bets on whether or not it'll come to America/Europe.

Forgot to ask: Is there an average play-time estimate? Will this game be completable in under a half hour?

Is there some reason to play it over and over again? (The thought of only having 30 seconds and a billion different paths seems kind of nice, regardless of the fact you have more than 30).

Rising Star Games said they'd be releasing Hero for 30sec in October 2009. (Of course, that was way before anyone knew wth "Hero for 30sec" even was, haha.)

Hopefully someone will bring it to the US as well. (Marvelous USA?)

hmm... and interesting. if this DOES come to the states or if there is a demo, i'm definitly checking it out. while strangly enough i do like the stat grinding sometimes, this works perfectly with a handheld. short battles (REALLY short), great for play times that don't last all too long. however the graphics don't seem to be pushing any hardware limitations

There have been.....2, maybe 3 games that really did something beautiful with the PSP.

I am not in any way saying that good graphics makes a good game (in fact, I hated God of War), but it would be nice to know that all that money you pay for a PSP (and it is expensive) goes toward something that looks slightly better than an SNES game, or at least a release PSX game.

.....Of course, I really like SNES looking games and I like 2D games. I just.....would like some variety, some choices in my genre of choice.

ya we got GoW, then we got crisis core. but aside from that i can't think of anything that is pushing the psp's hardware limits. then again, i'm not knowledgable about everything on the psp so there probably is something i don't know about

I was instantly reminded of Atelier Iris 3's timed dungeons when I saw this but obviously this game takes that to a whole new level. Looks interesting and I hope I see it stateside but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Dude, this sounds so awesome. I pry my brain trying to think of unique game ideas while I'm spacing out at work, and this is off the wall unique. There's no way I could think of how to make an RPG with a 30 second time limit possible, but they did it.

Now I should get working on that Metroidvania/tower defense game...

Brilliant.

Now I really, really, really want to play this thing. I'm curious how the SRPG and ARPG modes work.

Ditto what everyone else said, I'm thinking this is what will finally get me to buy a PSP.

Not only do I love the concept (I'm pretty sure every hardcore gamer has thought about a game like this at least once), but what really sealed the deal is Takamizawa (Japanese electric guitarist and all-around weirdo) is helping out with the music.

If Crisis Core didn't get you to buy a PSP, you're dead inside.

Seriously. Pick it up sometime. It's a great deal of fun.
