If the wastes of D.C. and Alaska just weren't enough places for Fallout 3 fans to visit, then the next DLC pack, The Pitt, for the Xbox 360 and PC should satiate the explorer within. According to UK OXM, 'The Pitt' brings the dystopian story of Fallout to 'The 'Burgh,' specifically taking place in Steel City's industrial district. There-in lies an abandoned steel yard, a vaguely-described "dungeon" area, and a settlement divided into "Downtown's" slave dens and "Haven's" upper class community.
Other details regarding this March-scheduled DLC include new interactive elements with the wasteland scavengers known as Raiders; it appears you can possibly talk with them as opposed to being shot at upon sight. It also seems that Raiders will play a central role in The Pitt as OXM reveals that one major quest involves investigating a Raider boss who supposedly found a cure for mutation. Lastly, new weapons and items are expected to pop up, including the all new Auto Axe. It's apparently a chainsaw-type weapon. Hopefully, it'll be something a lot like this ... but in Fallout 3-style slow motion.

Very cool. I hope the 'Pitt loot at least meets the cool factor of the Chinese Stealth Armor and the Gauss Rifle!

I like the idea of being able to converse with the Raiders, as I tried to play the game being as diplomatic as possible before, but will that be a feature that would carry over to the main MD/DC/NOVA campaign map...or just be useful in Pittsburgh? What if I wanted to replay the game as an evil character? Could I *be* a Raider and have them work *with* me instead of always trying to murder me? Because that would be pretty cool.

Sweet sounds a lot better than the last one. I liked the last one but wish there was more and felt like 10 for it was a bit steep.

I went to Pitt - I can't wait to see how the campus does after a nuclear war (esp. The Cathedral of Learning - the tall building in the pic)

I'm hoping for six small melted piles of Lombardi trophies. If they can't give us Robo-Palin, at least they can throw us this bone.

I am kind of glad and kind of disappointed in not being able to get the DLC on my ps3..Although I have a 360 to it is just...yea...anyway...So on one hand I can not get it...On the other hand I do not have to watch my back for glitches and things that if I miss I may never get back..and having to save every 5 minutes just so that will not happen. I do not think I can come back to this game it is just to big for me.

Living in Pittsburgh this is my most anticipated DLC evar. I always wished game designers would map out Pittsburgh in their game. Even if it is a destroy post apocoliptic version. =D Wonder if we'll be able to go to point state park. PLUS good thing is they can't really rely on a metro system to get around the town since we don't really have one! :flex:
Fun Fact: Pittsburgh is the only "burg" city in the us that ends with a H. Every other city that has burg at the end is without a H. =D

Actually, from the scans that leaked, it looks a lot like Pittsburgh. I live in Oakland, where the University of Pittsburgh is (and presumably where this upper class section may be, as the describe it), and from the scans it looks like a carbon copy. Its not that big of a city, so getting it to map out correctly shouldn't be that hard.

They will be raising the level caps come the DLC, when/if you get it....But it does not make sense...If guys in the DLC will be a higher level (stronger) than how is someone who does not have that level 20 going to just jump on there when they want to....Or will the enemies be corresponding to your level....
Complicated....

I agree to some extent and it bugged me for a while. But then I came to the realization that I can dominate any enemy in any part of the game. I also bumped lock picking and science up to 100 so I can open everything in the game as well. If anything, books and bobble heads seem much more important now. While a higher cap would be somewhat worthless at the moment, part of me... the exp whore part... misses the continual progression.
The only other complaint is that there were too few weapons to create. I had been hording all sorts of misc. stuff in the hope of being able to find all sorts of blueprints. I got the achievement for creating all of the weapons in the game and instead of being elated, I was rather disappointed.

Can't wait, this sounds great. It also seems to be full of the things I loved about the game. Exploring, acquire loot, searching rooms and of course, story/dialogue.
I didn't mind Anchorage... but doing it at lvl 20 was a mistake. Because of that it was too short. Also, I wanted more dialogue.
