Unlock every Street Fighter IV character the easy way

Wow... easy shouldn't be THAT easy. I mean... This is playstation 3 for crying out loud... Well I'm not picking up Street Fighter 4. That seems like something they shouldnt' have let see a full release.

I was never a fan of Street Fighter... but... I mean come on... Not even the MK games get THAT easy. You actually have to time the attacks a LITTLE!

Then you're a goddamn troll for posting on this topic in the first place. I doubt anyone here would actually be playing through SF IV on "Easiest" difficulty. And if that's what they need to do to have a good time, more power to 'em.

i used to do the same thing when trying to get all the characters in tekken 2

Jump Roundhouse, Duck Roundhouse - has worked on every other SF for perfects on easy, can't believe it wouldn't work here.

This is why I think they should have done it a tad differently. Assuming the standard difficulty isn't impossibly difficult (as it was for many in very early versions of SF2), they should prevent character unlocking in easy mode. The boss characters should probably be unlocked by entirely different means.

1. No that doesn't make me a troll. That makes me someone who is on the fence on the game. I wasn't coming in and saying "Street Fighter 4 is crap" I was saying I never got into the series.

2. If the A.I. is that bad at easy, then to me that seems shoddy. I don't have much trust in the series. I mean seriously can't they do SOMETHING with the A.I. so that it starts to wise up to the attacks.

I'm only saying this is next gen, and that they should act like it. Why is the A.I. THAT stupid. Yes it's on Easy but just because there's an easy mode doesn't mean it should be (put on turbo and walk out of the room) easy.

Anyone who's playing this game to actually become good at the game and tournament-worthy has done this tactic in just about every other fighting game before. Not really anything new.

This doesn't work at all. Seth destroys you on easy if you just use heavy kick.

just got this game for ps3 and first thing I noticed is that there's an update for the game already. I'm not sure what it did but I am suspecting that it may make the game harder. because that technic for mashing hard kick button all the way to finish does not work. on easiest setting, the final both was not only blocking all my f-ing moves but doing ultra and all kinda shenanigans to me... on easiest level. I think capcom fixed it.. I really wanna get all the characters and now I can't. I really don't care playing some characters like that mexican or russian wrestler, only to bet the secrete characters.. damn it..

Ok, for some reason I cant figure this out. I have beat the game with all the characters and Akuma. I've beat the game on the hardest level. But trying to unlock Gouken is not working for me. according to your guide!? I have the game set on the easiest level, 1 rounds. I got 3 perfects, 7 first attacks, and finished 6 rounds using a super or ultra, and I NEVER lose a round. I always just fight Akuma, over and over and over again. I watch every ending and entro, and I have beat the game 43 times with Zangief to try to unlock Gouken. I just dont understand. I love the game, but I can NOT unlock Gouken.
