i saw it on Gamestop.com, then I saw the $35.99 price tag and was like "LOL WUT?!?!?". And the worst part: Viewtiful Joe is only $2.99

Long story short: How much did you pay for it?

Now that my new PC is up and running (on Windows 7 no less), I've gotten back into Fallout 3. Adding in some mods made the game more enjoyable to me so far (you might want to look into this, Chris, if you're running the PC version). Mods like the high-res texture packs, flesh-burning plasma weapons, and some other stuff I don't remember off the top of my head.

I hate linking to other sites, but this is where I go for my Fallout 3 mods: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/

I'm also hammering away at Star Ocean 2 on the PSP and Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3. I can't get enough of VC's visual style.

So far it's been great. It's fast, the way programs are arranged on the task bar takes some getting used to, but I like it. It still has some of Vista's annoyances, but so far it hasn't tried to hold my hand and walk me through useless troubleshooting steps that do nothing to fix whatever problem I'm having, but I haven't had any problems to troubleshoot.

Also, User Access Control is 1000% less annoying, but still annoying.

Oh, just wait until the final versions of Windows 7. It'll try to hold your hand again, I'm sure.

User Acces Control?

That's not a problem at all... not even in Vista. Just disable it. Not really necesary, specially if you have a good security software, like ESET.

ESET Smart Security is the best security software ever... so light... and fast.

I'll be celebrating Single's Appreciation Day, myself. And whilst it may be a little unfortunate that the acronym for Single's Appreciation Day is "SAD", I shan't let this get me down.

Retro Game Challenge. so JC wins this weekend. Also picked up Ninja Gaiden Dragon Swords on the cheap so I might give that a spin.

Though Saturday night, I'll be pouring a metaphoric .40 out for Versus Books (1995-2003), the company that nearly gave me the greatest job in history.

The day after Valentine's Day is more important for me: Mario Kart Wii Tournament (though i don't know how they'll work it to offset the cruelties of chance that the game dishes out). As such, i will be working overtime on Valentine's day to shift all my homework out of the way.

The game de jure is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance in my run of preparation for Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Playing it like this, where my old file got deleted but i still retain my skill, it's really a chance to "get it right the first time" since it was my first Fire Emblem. Seems a lot easier, too.

And I'll be playing it this weekend.

King of Fighters: The Orochi Saga for $20 at Gamestop is a steal for a fan of 2D fighters, Deadly Creatures pre-order pick up, Metroid Prime 3 (if I can find it), a great Kong game called Neverending Light (http://www.kongregate.com/games/Jiggmin/neverending-light), and pretty much anything I can dig up from the Gamestop bargin bin

Wow. Pricey. Glad I hung onto my copy. Still, it is a step above the PS1 version, especially for the cutscenes. Enjoy.

The biggest thing about that game...its got like 5 endings...meaning you think its about to end...and then SURPRISE...its not over yet...and then SURPRISE...its not over yet...and then...well you get the idea.

I'm about to activate the final crystal in Final Fantasy on the PSP (NES games in widescreen FTW).

After that I'm being forced to give up my PSP since my old lady wants to play Crisis Core. So later on I'll be enjoying Dark Cloud 2, which I've never gotten around to playing for some reason.

But what about the wrong aspect ratio?

Always play the games on the original aspect ratio... just because you have a widescreen screen, does it mean that you have to fill all the screen. Have you seen how bad the widescreen TV's look in the stores and offices and most homes because the people stretch the 4:3 images to 16:9?

More L4D for me this weekend. I have all the mutiplayer achievements, and I might try to get some more single player achievements... although I'll probably just end up playing versus exclusivly.

Maybe some CS Source, as an old friend of mine is trying to get me back into the game.

I'll also be playing Flower. Love the game. Did you guys know that if you use the triggers for "boost," you can control the speed of the wind?

Also, linkz for ur ass

I rented Afro Samurai which I have to say isn't bad for an anime game, I've played much worse but still can be annoying at times and F.E.A.R. 2, never really played the first one but I thought I just give this one a try until I can go buy The Ultimate Genesis Collection sometime this weekend.

I just finished Star Ocean: Second Evolution this morning. :D Went to the Gamestop nearby to get Fable 2, F.E.A.R., and Star Ocean 3, but they didn't have SO3 for some reason. I started Fable 2 and it's really awesome. Co-op was so disappointing though... I didn't expect it to be that bad since all of the achievements have co-op aspects to them. I guess I'll try and get SO3 at another Gamestop tomorrow if I have the time.

I'm still plowing(plouing?) through Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess for the Gamecube. Damn that game rocks something fierce. I just can't get over how much Nintendo squeezed into that little disc.

Also, I'm at the final stretch of Brave Story for the PSP. I'll go on record that the graphics tear ol' Crisis Core a new one. The game doesn't have prerendered CG like FFVII:CC, but the ingame graphics are something to behold. On top of that, there is seemingly no loading time to speak of, unless it's at the very beginning of the game when you first boot it up. I'll take the flames that'll come my way and still hold true to my statement.

I just completed the main portion of Flower and I have to say that it was one of the best looking games I've played so far. I would even go so far as to say that the PS3 now has it's own version of Braid(which kicked ass, BTW). In that I mean a must have indie game that no one should be without if you happen to own the system. Short, sweet, and beautiful!

Finally, I'm in the middle of Tales of Vesperia for the Xbox 360. I'm trying to get through that so I can make room for Star Ocean: The Last Hope. I'm apparently one of the few that liked SO: Till the End of Time for the PS2, so I'm looking forward to the conclusion/beginning of the SO series. (I might just hold off since I haven't played SO 1 or 2, yet. Once I beat Brave Story, I'll tackle them in succession.

That's it. The end. Do you want to be a Pepper, too?

I'll be playing my girlfriend's Ocarina.

Yes that was a sexual joke.

Flower is awesome, I'll be playing that one level at a time. Got the coolest trophy ever today, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I'm only at level 17 in Crash Commando, and the "get to lvl 25" trophy is the only one I have left. I'm replaying Dead Space for trophies. Guess I'm trophy hunting for the most part until Killzone.

Still haven't finished Fallout 3, and I'm at Lamplight Caverns. I'm feeling like I'm getting close, I just never feel like putting the game in. It feels like work sometimes, which is not cool.
