Sounds cool, but I'm not sure if this will end up working well. (Just imagine a generation of kids, all taught by GTA)

I always think art-directed intermediate and high schools sound like a cool and rewarding experience for kids but unfortunately I don't think a lot of universities take diplomas from specialized schools as seriously, unless you're applying to an art university.

Why would you go to a university after going to a specialized school? I'm pretty sure you'd already know what you want to do.

@WiredKnight: Most of the 11-18 year olds I know don't know exactly what they want to do once they graduate, and most of the 18 year olds no longer have the same goals as they did when they were 11. I am just of the opinion that university is a great step to finding that out, and you want to try to get into the best university you can.

While this sounds neat, technical skills and degrees are much more valuable. Hopefully, when these kids graduate from college, they will be able to find work.

What if they wouldn't let you play games that you were to young to play?

Poor smart 11 year old kid who made it into 12th grade. He was stuck playing Wii games for his senior year.

Imagine a big group of kids that can't right a freakin complete sentence. They're bad enough as it is! This will just make it worse! And yes, I am a high school teacher.

I hope you're kidding about being a high school teacher. You managed to write a complete sentence but used the word "right" instead of "write." You also left out the apostrophe at the end of freakin'.

This is pathetic. You are supposed to learn and have a true education while you are in high school. Play video games in your own time. Wow.
