Sex sells, and nobody knows that more than the folks at D3 Publisher and Playboy, who have just teamed up to promote the mag's review of Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad -- complete with some pictures of the game's lead heroine, Aya, in the buff. You're going to click over for the article, right? It's a pretty good review. We've read it. Like 4 times.

Yup. Came out last week. The games an old Japanese release, but for $40.00, I've had a helluva good time with it.

I am speaking purely from when it comes to advertising a product. Just because a select few want to buy it doesn't mean that everyone else seeing it in Playboy will instantly want to buy it. This is because the ads don't describe what the game is about, but rather just show the sexual appeal of the characters. Most games that they do show nude characters of in Playboy don't sell that well, either. I am only pointing out the obvious. ;-)
