Three new Final Fantasy XIII characters revealed

Ah, that's it, you're right! Especially Gadou... This has me a bit worried...

By the way, these characters aren't "new", since we saw them in the trailer that launched with the official website, and I distinctly remember reading Gadou's name in one of the battle scenes as a playable character. We're just getting more "official" confirmation about their names, and some more information about their character traits.

People said that about FFXII, too.

ya but the thing is the game is 95% done but is going to be delayed because they want to have it launch on the 360 on the same time

I don't think the Japanese version will be delayed because they clearly stated that they are not making a Japanese Xbox 360 version of FFXIII. But probably English version will be delayed. :/

Holy crap Square is getting worst everytime with the female-looking-male characters!

Tina & Cec, I can see (though I may argue Cecil's stark yellowness in the 2D versions), but you example Zidane? He's got frills comin' out of everywhere, gigantic wrist...things, and his (admittantly downward) spikey hair and tail are only part of the jut-fest of the more sprite-proportioned look of FFIX (well, what I think I'm familiar with it; need to play through *fawns over Freya and her axsomness*).

Anyway, what's with the flame hair? And the clothes make me wonder if it's harder to get them on that way or off at all (maybe their interweaving makes the whole durable?). Guy on the viewer right makes me think of Hammer from the Xenosaga games, the one on the viewer left of perhaps a hume of FFXI, and the middle... some fighting game, I suppose, but I don't know which series(es); maybe Tekken, KoF, even some of SE's givings.

Agreed with Smitty on the lack of afros (though I'm now worrying more about how chocobos look fully grown...hrm).

Nomura is a terrible character designer, but that's all he's contributing to the main Final Fantasy XIII game as far as I know. It'll probably be just as good as the other Final Fantasy games he's designed the characters for.
