So I'm not the only one that thought they just took a swing at Joystiq.

I hate minimizing my screen at work, popping it back up only to type some poor joke, made worse with the wrong wording...

Fuck, we had a debate about EXACTLY this before the post went up. What he was saying was that he hadn't heard anything from SimBin's people, my questions for him was the first thing he heard. The "[Joystiq]" was obviously my addition to clarify.

Score one point for Ludwig.

Not only that, but all the press release says is that they worked on "the critically acclaimed GT Legends and GTR 2.". So if anything, they were giving praise to the other studio.

This reminds me, Race Pro for the Xbox 360 comes out today. I think I need to give that a rent to see how well SimBin has translated their excellent PC sims to the console arena.

Clever....

Whats with all these companies suing each other. Is the economy that bad that their only chance to stay afloat is to garner money from lawsuits that they hope they'll win...

Putting out a hardcore racing sim under the Need For Speed name makes no sense.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it a bloody fucking duck- GTR+GTR2 and GT Legends, obvioulsy were developed by Blimey Games which has gone under and ressurected as Slightly Mad Studio- I can't why the statement by SLM was considered false.

Another Need for Speed game? They needed to stop after the original "Need for Speed", for the 3DO.
