Not skimping one bit on the nostalgia factor, the "GT Nighthawk" "Cavalry Bootlegger" video employs liberal use of the General Lee horn over a slo-mo jump sequence, though Doc is unfortunately missing from the "88 Special" video. "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads." Peruse our gallery below and then hit the jump for all four videos. That's a command!
why dont they first release the new island... i mean im guessing there is a lot of people that doesnt touch this game now cos they got newer to play, personally im not gonna begin to play it again to drive a new car... but i would probobly buy a car or two if i had started to play the game again., which im gonna do when the new island unlocks...
I wanted the Delorean, but not for $3.99. I think it's ridiculous to make one of the four cars cost double what the rest do. They're just trying to push us into buying the 4 pack. Uncool.
With all the free DLC, everyone owes it to Criterion to buy some of these cars.
*I recently bought Burnout Paradise. I rented back when it had just came out and I really tried liking it but I just couldn't. Mostly due to the lack of retry option.
The game is WAY more accessible now that I can quickly retry a race after I fucked up by making a bad turn. But the game still has it's flaws. For one, the mini map is WAY too small and I constantly have to look at it to make sure there is a turn coming up. And if they can't make the mini map bigger, then they should but some type barriers while racing so you don't go too off track.
And if it induces more load times, then so be it. If the game would have had retry option from the beginning. I would have bought the game for $60. Instead I had to wait about a year for them to add it and buy it for $20.
Is it cheaper to buy the Legendary Cars Pack or buy the new cars one at a time?
I purchased the 'Ghost Busters' car earlier via Xbox Live for 160 points... didn't realise there was a full pack to get them all at once.
Now I've gone to the Marketplace website, and see there is a Legendary Cars pack. All four cars for 640 points. Which is 160 points cheaper than buying all the cars seperately. Is this the normal cost, or has Microsoft just lowered the price seeing as I have already downloaded one of the included cars?
I had already purchased the Manhatten Special or whatever it's called for 160. I've since picked up the whole pack for 640... Wonder if there is a chance of getting a refund for that 160 I didn't need to pay, as the full legendary cars pack never came up on my Console, otherwise I wouldn't have grabbed just the one car.
Okay, I drove all the toy cars, boost specials and legendarys AWESOME! The toy inferno takes everyone down easily the Hawker Mech can change boost type while driving and the Hot Rod has unlimited boost!
Sorry you can't get them Microsoft made a hilarious mistake and released them all early. Though if the car models were included in the 1.7 I think. I don't know but I don't think those cars are 108kb but maybe they are....
Go to online freeburn and a lot of people have them it just takes some looking.
I was driving around in the Nighthawk/KITT and the door swung open to reveal full KITT interior with the space-hip wheel and screens... the whole thing! Try it out...
...I wish there was a Hasselhoff that would fly out of the car everytime you crashed!
