This looks really really fun, but 10 dollars kind of killed it for me. I know ten dollars isn't a lot but I've been trying to cut back on spending. Maybe there will be a points sale or some other deal with this content. Looks really fun though. Wish you could run through it with a friend.

this game is severely underrated. i'm praying it sells enough to warrant a sequel. maybe the combat could have been better but this dlc is pure platforming, which was the best part of the main game. so if you like mirror's edge at all buy this to reward them for making such an innovative product and to encourage them to make all the parts of it as good as its best part.

I agree. Despite being incredibly frustrated by the combat at a few points in the game, I'd like to see a sequel. And to help DICE fix it up for next time, I have a protip:
Make Faith more bad ass.
All it would have taken to make the combat perfect for the game they made is for dudes to go down in one hit. The combat is not the POINT of this game, so why let it kill the action? Three guards ahead? One goes down with a jumpkick, rush the second and fell him in a single punch, and the third goes down with a (far easier) disarm. THAT would have made the gameplay intense but without breaking the feeling of speed the game was meant to deliver.

I just wish the game was available on Steam in the UK.
EA are on Steam in USA and Europe, except UK. What's the British hate EA?

It's a DLC overload these days. I just dropped $20 for GTAIV, and after I get this, Prince of Persia will come out of nowhere, open my Microsoft Point Wallet, and take out another 800.

Did anybody notice the rat at about 46 seconds in? Is it a boss?

There are rats all over the city in Mirror's Edge. They're usually there to tell you where to go, though they're kind of useless for that since most people don't know that. :P There's also a point where you can make a giant rat appear on the street. It's kind of a running thing so it's probably just a joke that a rat appears in a giant obstacle course in the sky. :P

this should have been discounted due to the fact it was delayed a day before release

I'm almost positive that Luddy could do all of the feats that you described above if only South Africa had fire escapes...
...but seriously Justin, do not lump the whole Joystiq staff in with yourself.
It's okay I'm sure the Blueberry Muffin Tops man/woman will come to rescue you soon.
My Regards,
