Pretty........
Im really hoping a sequel is made. EA actually made a master piece IMO. With some more fin tuning it could get even better. I have become in love with the primary color against white color pallet art.
iNZoW @ Feb 19th 2009 10:34AM
Purchased !! thanks EA!
ImmortalThree @ Feb 19th 2009 10:50AM
any achievements come with this?
Andrew Yoon @ Feb 19th 2009 11:42AM
Yep. They're worth 250 points.
ImmortalThree @ Feb 19th 2009 10:53AM
nvm it does have achievements, they are on xbox.com.
MarkHawk @ Feb 19th 2009 10:53AM
This looks really really fun, but 10 dollars kind of killed it for me. I know ten dollars isn't a lot but I've been trying to cut back on spending. Maybe there will be a points sale or some other deal with this content. Looks really fun though. Wish you could run through it with a friend.
ObiBen @ Feb 19th 2009 11:01AM
Looking forward to trying out the DLC. Oh, and the sundae bar at Max & Erma's rocks!
Jerk Face @ Feb 19th 2009 12:40PM
Dude, I just had the Laredo Steak there the other day, and it changed my fucking life.
ObiBen @ Feb 19th 2009 12:43PM
I'll try to remember that and order it the next time I'm there.
Magresda @ Feb 19th 2009 11:37AM
The free level that came out earlier sold me on this one. This is what Mirror's Edge should have been from the start.
Deeznuts420 @ Feb 19th 2009 11:46AM
that looks fun as hell...
michael @ Feb 19th 2009 12:06PM
this game is severely underrated. i'm praying it sells enough to warrant a sequel. maybe the combat could have been better but this dlc is pure platforming, which was the best part of the main game. so if you like mirror's edge at all buy this to reward them for making such an innovative product and to encourage them to make all the parts of it as good as its best part.
Jerk Face @ Feb 19th 2009 12:43PM
I agree. Despite being incredibly frustrated by the combat at a few points in the game, I'd like to see a sequel. And to help DICE fix it up for next time, I have a protip:
Make Faith more bad ass.
All it would have taken to make the combat perfect for the game they made is for dudes to go down in one hit. The combat is not the POINT of this game, so why let it kill the action? Three guards ahead? One goes down with a jumpkick, rush the second and fell him in a single punch, and the third goes down with a (far easier) disarm. THAT would have made the gameplay intense but without breaking the feeling of speed the game was meant to deliver.
SyntheCypher @ Feb 19th 2009 12:20PM
So whereabouts can I download this for my PC version? Because I can't find it anywhere.
JerJer @ Feb 19th 2009 12:30PM
is the DLC gonna be free on steam? hmm only time will tell
United States of Generica @ Feb 19th 2009 2:19PM
I just wish the game was available on Steam in the UK.
EA are on Steam in USA and Europe, except UK. What's the British hate EA?
Roto13 @ Feb 19th 2009 12:57PM
I played the free map for the PS3 version and as much as I love Mirror's Edge, I don't think I'll be buying these new maps. They're fun, but I wouldn't end up getting $10 worth of use out of them. :P
acefondu @ Feb 19th 2009 1:10PM
I like this DLC. It's actually gameplay we get instead of outfits and gun skins. Thank you EA for adding game to the game!
Craptimus Prime @ Feb 19th 2009 1:32PM
It's a DLC overload these days. I just dropped $20 for GTAIV, and after I get this, Prince of Persia will come out of nowhere, open my Microsoft Point Wallet, and take out another 800.
MMT @ Feb 19th 2009 1:46PM
Did anybody notice the rat at about 46 seconds in? Is it a boss?
Roto13 @ Feb 19th 2009 2:33PM
There are rats all over the city in Mirror's Edge. They're usually there to tell you where to go, though they're kind of useless for that since most people don't know that. :P There's also a point where you can make a giant rat appear on the street. It's kind of a running thing so it's probably just a joke that a rat appears in a giant obstacle course in the sky. :P
CypherVR @ Feb 23rd 2009 1:49PM
this should have been discounted due to the fact it was delayed a day before release

Looks sooo much better than I expected :D (and I had high expectations from DICE). Love, it.
Instant buy :D.
Nate Kowal @ Feb 20th 2009 12:18PM
I'm almost positive that Luddy could do all of the feats that you described above if only South Africa had fire escapes...
...but seriously Justin, do not lump the whole Joystiq staff in with yourself.
It's okay I'm sure the Blueberry Muffin Tops man/woman will come to rescue you soon.
My Regards,
Nate Kowal
