PSN Thursday: Let's play Noby Noby Boy

Your guess is as good as ours as to how today's major PSN release, Noby Noby Boy plays. Heck, even it's creator -- Katamari Damacy's Keita Takahashi -- doesn't know why he made it. But, given its pedigree and $4.99 pricetag, we're going for it. Will you join us? (The more the merrier, as new stages are unlocked via cumulative global play -- crazy!).

Today's update also brings PopCap's Zuma to PS3 (it's no Peggle, but what is ... except, well, Peggle), along with the much-anticipated Burnout Paradise Legendary Cars Collection, WipEout trimmings (plus costumes) for LittleBigPlanet and a playable demo of Loco Roco 2 for PSP, among various other offerings.

I have sound...I had a strange problem when I went to the sun...when I returned I had a top-down view that I could not change....

nevermind.....holding R1+L1 and tilting the controller fixes my problem....sorry about the sound

I tried downloading it again and still nothing ha ha. I get sound when the Playstation 3 flashes across but then nothing. I played with my settings on the sound part of the ps3 and I set it to auto with no luck and thought maybe it was the home theatre but nothing. Ah oh well its still a fun game!

do other games audio work?

i had the same issue after i got rock band 2. Everything except it would work

Noby Noby Boy! I've been playing it for about an hour and I'm finding it quite relaxing and funny. It's the joy of simple play I guess. Great little piece of software for $5.

PSP related comments are getting lost with this new structure, but I find it interesting that SCEA finally release the Locoroco 2 demo on PSN while it was only available for those who pre-ordered the game until now. Good move, and hopefully good sales for this smile-making game!

I can't get the music out of my head after I watch the latest trailer...it's too damn happy!

let me ask a question. why the hell dos'nt some one,like the guys at gamestop or some one bigger ask sony why? why do they give us crap for the psp and all that good stuff for the ps3. the psp gets 3 things and the other gets a whole bunch of stuff. can't some one from say like this place ,say call up sony and say wtf are you guys doing. we need more stuff for the psp. get off your butt's and do something. lol.
