the game is great but it is not my cup of tea. The only reason why I am still playing it is because I want to make sure i complete it. I don't want to leave it half way.

Day b4 Killzone 2. well I suppose if I beat the entire game in under 8 hours it shouldnt take longer than 3 or 4 for this DLC so I'll have plenty of time. I'm sold.

didnt have time to enjoy it???? you DO realize that there is an Achievement/Trophy for you to beat it in under 12 hours right??? I think I had plenty of time to enjoy it not to mention I am playing thru it again to get all 1001 light seeds.
Thats hilarious ME a TROLL. Just because I mention Killzone 2??
if my other account hadnt locked up you could look back and see that I liked this game and was surprised it sold so poorly on the 360 as compared to the PS3 when there our SO many more 360's out there than PS3s

"That they are rewriting it to what will surely be a 'happy' ending is...just a damn shame."
Kinda spoiler-ish post here..
ahhhh... What? This isn't cutting the ending out of the original game. You do realize the first game ended like that just so they could make more sequels/DLC. I agree that the darkness of it was daring and intriguing, but the final chapter to the game it definitely was not.

I have to agree. Although I usually hate cliffhanger endings, the Prince of Persia ending was a work of art.
Hopefully, they will just add the DLC as an interludium, integrating it into the normal game like some kind of "Director's Cut" without changing the ending as such.

I will get this if it's reasonably priced. Considering I don't have the game, it might not be such a good choice...

They shouldn't be charging anything, with such a terrible ending to the story in the main game, this should be free.
I know I'm gonna be pirating the hell out of it, upload it to as many file sharing sites as I can.
I respect and buy good games made by good developers, but not something that should have been included in the main game I bought already

the only thing i hate now is that this was in the game and they took it out supposedly to get the game out on time. Now they want people to pay extra for something that was already made and was suppose to be on the disc. Devs are doing this and trying to make people think they are getting something extra when they aren't and paying a extra 10 bucks for it.

Is there any link you can offer that said they took it out? Perhaps they needed to meet a deadline and were still working on the epilogue?
As for the game, I wanted to finish it. I wanted to enjoy more of the story. But every time I'd get involved with another game, I just couldn't see myself going back to wall running, sliding, repetitive combat and take-out-this-guy-to-make-the-level-happy-again so we can collect more light seeds.
I love the direction they went with the series, I just wanted more than the first few hours repeated throughout the game.

Guys DO NOT get get this, please! Its utter BS. Anyone who played through the game knows when I say that there was a "something's missing" element to the story. Its was almost leading to a cliffhanger and after Assasin's Creed, this is becoming too common a thing with Ubisoft. We can't support this nickel-and-diming. This wasn't left out due to time. It was JUST LEFT OUT! EA were always quite the business men when it came to DLC but at least they attempt new things (i.e. - Dead Space, Army of Two), Ubisoft is quickly becoming the new EA. Gee...why don' they churn out another Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon and find more was to screw the consumer for a better bottom line. I, for one, am staying away!

I might pass on this initially but pick it up in the summer. I JUST beat PoP the other day for the first time. I went ahead and got 100% on it. While it was definitely great, I am a little burned out on it at the moment.

Two questions:
1. Did they correct the crappy combat?
2. Is it ok if I'm over this whole downloadable content thing? I mean how do I know the developers aren't just skimping on in game content to sell it to me later? The whole thing just reeks of nickel and dime.
