Thanks to the opening of the official Metal Gear Solid Touch website we now have a much clearer idea of what to expect from the game when it launches this spring. The game will follow the story of Metal Gear Solid 4 but will play more like a light-gun game. Controls involve flicking a finger across the screen to move Snake and pinching to zoom in for trickier shots.
Rewarded at the end of each phase, Drebin points will allow you to unlock new Metal Gear Solid inspired iPhone wallpapers. Kojima Productions will seemingly be getting the game out a bit quicker by splitting it in two; a version with twelve stages will released in the spring, with an update coming later that will add the remaining eight stages at no extra cost. For those who've already bought it, at least.
