I'm kinda confused on the energy drink. Does it increase the speed, or let you dodge bullets easier? They aren't quite clear.

Think of it as a shield that soaks up a certain amount of damage and a speed boost.

So basically perfect for getting past sentries (I hope)

It gives the scout a speed boost and a 66% chance for all bullet-based weapons to miss (shotguns, miniguns, rifles, pistols) but at the cost of a loss of double jumping capabilities and a slowdown effect for a short time thereafter.

And the 360 update is still no where in site.

I fear the same will happen to L4D.

Boo hoo? Don't go making it sound like we're whining for no reason, we payed $60 to get TF2 and the community just died, nobody plays it anymore because valve hasn't updated it. It's quite annoying, especially since I bought TF2 on my PC when it was $10 but it runs like crap :( (though thats my fault, but still)

Yeah so far L4D for the PC has been patched for 2 months now, yet the 360 is still patchless. But then again, I think that is more MS fault rather than Valve.

yea well if MS would actually let Valve make free updates, this wouldn't be a problem. When it comes to this sort of stuff I really question my love for MS :/

Maybe a L4D patch will come along at least no later than the new content pack. Also, we know that stuff is coming at the same time as the PC version. I prefer L4D over TF2 anyways, so I am indifferent anymore about TF2.

Actually, I mean for the "platform's" problems.

Also, you didn't pay $60 for TF2, you paid $60 for HL2, Episodes 1 and 2, Portal, and TF2.

Chispy, true. We did not pay 60 just for TF2, but it is the only multiplayer component of the game set, so some play it more or less than others and it is worth more to some than others. Great game, btw. Orange box is sweet.

"No one plays it anymore" is completely false. Hundreds of people play it, in fact I just got off 360 TF2 just now.

Blame Microsoft. Valve wanted to release all the updates for free just like the PC version, but MS demanded that they make 360 owners play. So Valve is waiting for all the updates to warrants a package you'd pay for.

At least something remains a PC exclusive these days. No GTA 4 DLC for the PC owners, not to mention the port was terrible and it runs like shit on monster rigs even at moderate settings, and PC owners of Fallout 3 are forced to purchase 1600 MS points to get the Anchorage DLC which only costs 800. Then you're left with a spare 800 you aren't going to use and a thumb up your ass.

Yeah I saw that too. The Scattergun update involves jumping of some sort.

My guess: it provides small rocket jump like affect when pointed down, but can't crit

You mean the Force-a-Nature? From what's been leaked elsewhere it's apparently the replacement scattergun with a knockback effect on both the person it is aimed at as well as the scout. It probably also causes damage to the scout like rocket/sticky jumps do to soldiers and demomen.

Also I can't wait to get some cart racing in if that picture above is accurate.

Anyways, I'm pretty excited. It's gonna be a good time to play pyro.

It's going to be an even better time for me to play scout and kill all the pyros by staying out of their range.

Heavies, on the other hand, are more difficult with Natascha...

Free stuff for a game months after it's released? Valve know's how to create customer loyalty. Most other companies would make you pay for all of this.

Plz valve just let MS charge for the DLC. I think the fact that they're not releasing the update is killing me more than the fact that I have to pay for the update. C'mon valve, the community is dieing and i'm getting tired of hackers.
