Why did you have to post this 5 minutes AFTER I've just turned off my laptop and packed it away? Anyway, looking forward to hearing the show and I'm sure it will be up to it's usual steller standards (Hopefully not the "steller standards" mentioned by the security AI in gears of war 2!).

I'm going to be so tempted to listen to the spoiler warning, although I haven't finished the story. I'm on Rescue From Paradise in the main quest. How is that mission possible? You basically have to kill everyone to find that one key to unlock the door to get the kid. That takes a hella lot of ammo and health.

Just wanted to comment on your problem with reserving Halo Wars, Richard. I work at GameStop, and I'm nearly 100% sure he was trying to "close the deal" with you and get you to reserve. However, your assertion that they want you to wait around in the store for two hours to buy something might not exactly be true. At my store we don't open the doors until midnight, so while you might be waiting around, you'd be in a line holding your place for the game, and most of that time will probably be spent waiting outside. Unless the stores near you do things totally differently. Also the stores can't really control how many "golden lancers" or "fire branded paint decal warthogs" we give out. Each store receives a certain amount and we hand them to the first however many customers. For gears, we ran out of comic books and golden weapon codes before the last customer. For Lich King, we had tons of lottery tickets (or whatever they were) weeks after the game was out. I'm sure MS could send out more codes, but what's the point when they'd arrive a week after the game came out and the people who really wanted one have forgotten all about them. I doubt Halo wars is going to have the WoW or Gears 2 launch, so you should be fine. I'm not so much trying to defend GameStop, as I am trying to help explain why the guy probably told you that.

You may be right. I just want the content that I'm supposed to get for pre-ordering. I paid in full and everything. It seems ridiculous that Microsoft wouldn't just provide every store with the same number of codes as pre-orders. What's the point of offering pre-order bonuses if there's no certainty you'll get one?
Just aggravates me is all.

i have already preordered my copy of Halo Wars CE but I'm kind ticked that it says the date of arrival is on the 9th of March when the RELEASE date for Halo Wars is on the 3rd......! grrr...... I can't wait for the Mythic Map pack that long! I mean... why would I even preorder it when I can run into the video store that my buddy works at 2 minutes after it's released?!?!?! DOUBLE GRRRRRR!!! I feel jipped. =(

I remember that part at the beginning of your Podcast when you said this one would be short, and it clocked in at the same 90 minutes that the past few have been. How is that short?

I remember when the shows were under 45 minutes. They have gotten longer and longer, spending more time discussing "what we played" than anything else.
