He was probably playing a bunch of idiot button masher Ryu/Kens that were spamming the shoryuken.

Or....he was probably just that damn good.

Either one is probable :)

108 is also the percentage of joystiq staff that now has a man crush on Fiddy. If they still had fanboy sites I would'a thought I was at the new Fiddyfanboy.com today.

I'd be completely possible to get this number of wins or an even higher number. Even for a completely average player. The trick would simply be to get lucky and not accidentally fight someone that actually knew how to play the game.

SF4 online is incredibly easy 95% of the time, but occasionally I run into someone with some skills and lose.

I have a hard enough time making it through the game without continues. I suck at old-school fighters.

And if ANYONE wants to make fun of LOST, well, take it elsewhere ;)

The explanation is more complex and simpler at the same time: 108 has a special significance in Buddhism. TVTropes has all the dirt:

A+ for linking TV Tropes, which IMO is 500x more awesome than Wikipedia could ever be.

At least, it's 500x more awesome for laughs. I suppose Wikipedia still has the advantage for researching.

There is no better way to get my attention than with a picture from Lost. Bravo.

"That's the difference between you and me, Jack. You're a man of science."

"Yeah? And what does that make you, John?"

"Me, well, I'm a man of faith."
