50 Cent to start reading Joystiq

Among the variety of topics brought up during 50 Cent's conference call earlier this afternoon, we somehow cajoled the perpetually beefing rapper (that's an industry term, obviously) into giving our fledgling little site a shot. After asking Fiddy (we can call him that -- we're boyz) about his responsibility to his fans regarding the amount of vulgar language employed in his latest game, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, the rapper addressed us personally.

Speaking directly to me, he said, "You're from Joystiq.com, right?" To which we responded, "Yup, Ben from Joystiq.com." Now pay really close attention to this next part, 'cause this is where it gets good.

"Ben, I'm gonna watch what you write and I'm gonna find yo ass!"

And I'm well aware that I made the same observation as you up above, but there's a reason I can do that and still correct you, and that reason is that I am a hypocrite.

I think the real news here is "50 Cent to start reading". You don't even need the "Joystiq" part.

In all seriousness this game looks like a fun game to mess about with. The story shows that it's aware of how ridiculous it's being. And at least they made the gameplay look fun this time....

I think I am done with this site. I am sick of all the bullshite about pathetic, American 'stars' I could not remotely give a shite about. I only came here to read game news, like it was before the sites were merged.

I would watch TV if I wanted to see useless idiots ramble on.

It's funny to hear so many people make fun of this guy like he is some ignorant gang banger. He started off as a drug dealer but has since because a very successful businessman and international rap superstar. From all the information I have seen his net worth is somewhere in between 500 million and 750 million dollars. I believe he ended up making around 400 million after Coca-Cola purchased Vitamin Water because he owned 10% of the stock in the company.

If anyone questions 50's validity to do what he says he is going to do they only need to look at the long line of rappers careers he has ended with his endless money stacks and the fact he doesn't have someone above him telling what he can or can't say. He has been in a feud recently with a rapper named Rick Ross. In a matter of a few days 50 was reading the financial affidavit on his website and took Ricky's babies mother shopping at the Gucci store. Ricky's baby's mother confirmed that Ross was not the biggest drug dealer in Miami like he claims and in fact is an ex police officer.
