The Bakugan toy line focuses on a game in which spring-loaded action figures pop out of a spherical shape when rolled onto metal game cards. We've never looked into it, but it sounds kind of awesome in theory! The press release says that the NOW Production-developed game, which apparently uses a similar game design across platforms, will feature "intense battles, the ability to create your own Brawler, cartoon quality graphics and multiplayer combat." Not too intense, we hope -- for the kids' sake.

I'm surprised Namco didn't scoop up the rights for this a long time ago

So they can exploit a Beyblade ripoff but not Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend, and 50 fuckin' Cent?

lol, never expected to hear that. I hate how activision never releases ANYTHING for the frikin psp. No wonder your not getting anything from the system. Just look at EA with rock band and Ubisoft with assassin's creed portable.

Activision has released 4 PSP titles since the beginning of September, which is more than any other 3rd party publisher (at least according to Wikipedia). The lack of PSP games isn't due to any specific 3rd party publisher.
And @ Donald you obviously don't have kids. Bakugan is much bigger than Beyblade ever was. Beyblade is to Bakugan as Voltron is to Power Rangers.

I'm really starting to think Activision is the new EA, or at least beating EA at it's own game

Sega's toy division sells the toys/card game version. Why wouldn't they want to publish the video game version?
