Well, tell you what, Levi... If Virtua On is gonna be an American Xbox exclusive, we'll give up exclusivity rights to Noby Noby boy to you, in exchange for Virtua On?

(Trust me, it's actually a really good deal. Noby's a really good game.)
And for the record, I'm not entirely a PS fanboy, I definitely own all five systems (I'm including the two portables), but admittedly do have my preference towards Playstation. But that's mostly because I started on it and thus got more games first, and my brother has one. He however, is definitely a PS fanboy.

15 fuckin bucks for a PS1 era title?! What a rip off. You could pick up a 2nd hand dreamcast for that.

That's ok Hydro, I'm going to get a PS3 one of these days, so keeping Noby Noby Boy exclusive will further help validate the purchase.

My brother has a PS3, so I try to get him to buy the cool games. Unfortunately, he's not much of a gamer (All he plays are the Call of Duty games), so I don't think I can get him to even drop $5 for Noby Noby Boy.

Dual analog, dual analog, dual analog, dual analog, dual analog!

The DC controls really sucked for that unfortunately. Dual analog would have cemented the control scheme. Finally playing the way it should have been done! Like the arcade version!

FYI, I loved the Saturn AND DC versions so take that as you may.

Incidentally, any idea what size the game will be? A few hundred megs would suck my harddrive space something fierce.

The tangrams I played around with as a kid never ended up looking like sword wielding robots. No wonder I've grown up forlorn and disillusioned.

That name is outrageous! I love it though!

It basically Translates as Virtual On Choir Puzzle, not quite as bad as Dondonpachi Ou Jou Black Label X, gotta love japanese game naming conventions :)

I know, I was so excited until I saw the price. Myself and a friend imported the twin stick controller for the dreamcast from Japan back when it came out, and I would go to arcades simply to play this game. Unless it's a bit more than a port, I'm not going to buy it. Didn't Gabe Newell teach us anything at dice?

This post made my night.

I knew there was a reason I was saving my MS Points. Throw in online (and splitscreen, ideally) and it's pure gold.

$15 is a bit too much imo.

But if the game came to PS3 I'd probably buy it anyway.

So, $15 on 360 is too much... but fine on PS3?

Talk about double standards. I think it's bad either way!

Nono, I'm just saying that since I don't have a 360, if the game came to PS3 I'd still probably buy it, even though I think $15 might be a bit too much (especially if they don't add online multiplayer or anything like that).

PSN games can be distributed to 5 PS3s though. It's perfectly legal and supported by Sony, too. So a $15 PSN game would actually be $3. I got Wipeout HD for $4 bucks :)

Yeah this is awesome news. I never had anyone to play with, so the game's fun factor wore off pretty quickly. Plus the Dreamcast controller was terrible for the game. Finally, I can play the game like I did at the arcades.

I hope this means we'll see that Border Break game get ported to the US some day too. If Virtual On does well, I can see it happening. Perhaps Bandai will finally port Mobile Ops and the various Gundam VS games over too. One can dream...

Not too happy about $15, would prefer $10. It is an extremely old game after all, even if it's a good one.

Yeah, this game was pretty niche, i remember duelling my little brother at MvC2 and that UFC game way more often. The controls were wonky as hell. Dual analog for great justice.

This proves it - MS is now trying to make 1200 points the standard price for all XBLA games.

At 1200 points, I'm not buying. I'll stick to my Dreamcast version. I'll miss the online play, and the hi def gfx, but I still have my imported twin sticks :)
