GameStop training video light on training, heavy on hilarity

Oh, GameStop. We have plenty of reasons to laugh at you. You call us up during dinner to coax us into trading stuff in, and you ask us about strategy guides and pre-orders every time we try to shop in your store. Now, it would seem you also like to employ what we've dubbed the "poor man's Lara Croft," as this very real training video shows. The video is kind of like watching a clown get the crap kicked out of him. You want to intervene, but every time he gets punched in the nose and you hear that honk sound, you can't help but laugh. Watch Ima and her amazing Zack Morris impressions after the break.

Man, that comment made me laugh hard. I also wonder what kind of DLC will be offered after this "woman" is released. More outfits or extra cooking abilities, please!

i tried to watch this already, and could only get 4 minutes in before i stopped. to give it some credit, i was just about to beat braid at the time.

Same here. 4:07 and I had to shut it off.

I was out before 2 minutes. My brain hasn't been this assaulted since someone uploaded Circuit City and BB training videos to youtube.

They're trying to insinuate that the average Gamestop employee has as little an understanding of women as the average person has of the African continent.

I love how lots of people assume English accent = Australian accent now due to Yahtzee.

I love how lots of people assume there is only one English accent.

The accents are what makes it so difficult for me to enjoy most English comedy. I have such a bad ear. It's even worse when you have a bunch of different actors with different English accents. Even if I manage to tune my ear for one, I'll still be struggling over all the others :(

We can all agree that is a forced accent. That or she's had a stroke or something...

@Nick- I have a problem with some British accents too... I had to watch the original The Office with subtitles on! But I can understand East-Asian and Indian accents quite well (probably because I work with lots of Asian and Indian people).

What a laughably stiff and awkward video. And a big WTF moment when Marge Simpson and Mom from Futurama are in the opening montage. I know they're women, but seriously, them?!

I couldn't make it past 0:44, where their generic Google search for "mom" has resulted in Futurama's Mom! She is absolutely NOT a comftorable bedfellow to the rest of them.

I like how the narrator sniffed the marker on her way out of frame. It certainly explains a lot about this video...

I am now informed about these things called "women" from ages from "25 to 54". Thank you, Gamestop!

I break the fourth wall all the time when I'm with my girlfriend. Sometimes during a sad trombone moment I'll look off the side of me and shrug my shoulders in a "well, what can i do?" kind of motion.

Funcoland featured a training video with a kid getting sucked into video game land, with an evil dungeon master played by the then CEO.

The only way to escape was to the learn the 5 points of selling, which formed a convenient acronym, G.A.M.E.S.

Easily worse than this video.
