Though it may lack the mind-melting insanity of their first H.A.W.X. effort and definitely lacks the paper-thinly-veiled homoeroticism, there's still a simple pleasure in watching the Mega64 team recreate every toddler's favorite pastime: Pretending to be an airplane.
Of course, few toddlers are grown men, let alone grown men doing it while wearing military uniforms in public. But when you see the joy they bring ... well, it's hard to judge them too harshly.
The game... How is it? Dammit guess i have to just DL the demo and get it over with... It can't be as far out as fighting against the Estovakian military can it?
"Let me fly modern day fight plane up the ass of a giant flying Manta Ray Gauss Cannon fortress".
Where the fuck do you live? Just because a group of guys decided to run around pretending to be airplanes doesn't every gamer will. And if they were so socially awkward I highly doubt they would have the balls to go out and public and pull a stunt like this or any other of their vids.
Gaming is just a hobby. Just like watching movies or being a fan of sports. There's no need to be socially awkward because of your hobby.
I think you're missing my point. If you were sitting on a park bench minding your own business and some guys starting "flying" around you, what are you going to think? It doesn't matter whether these guys represent the "average" gamer - the average person on the street will think they are weirdos.
It's one more syllable to pronounce. Obviously, most Americans are too on-the-go to stop and say an extra syllable here and there. In time, all words will be turned into one-syllable words, like a 12 year old's text messages. I LIK PIE! LOL!
