Fact: Bond trader, was in fact, linked to US Vice President Joe Biden. When Mr. Biden suddenly realized the $31 billion wouldn't go a long way in terms of "effective investing" of the tax payers' stimulus money, said order was a no-no.

Would this story have made Joystiq if Capcom had been replaced with any other Japanese company?

Seriously, what's next? Stories about a car accident outside Sony's headquarters?

I thought we as a society had evolved past "not news" type posts. Since they're about as annoying as "FIRST!"

Somebody almost accidentally bought 31 billion worth of Capcom....that's a pretty interesting little tidbit of GAMING-RELATED news to chew on. Because reading this, I'm actually now interested in checking out the story further to see what could happen if this order had gone through.

Was anyone hurt? What type of car was it, and was any other cars or people involved in it? I hope there was no alcohol involved, or that the driver wasn't trying to play some handheld while he was driving, otherwise you'll experience a Jack Attack!

I'm sure the error was discovered when they found out Capcom doesn't even have 31 billion worth of stocks.

UBS Board Room Member 1: "What's the name of that company with the zombie game? The one where you are trapped in a mall."

UBS Board Room Member 2: "Dead Rising? Capcom makes that, you noob."

UBS Board Room Member 1: "Are they making another one?"

UBS Board Room Member 2: "My god. Of course! You are such a fucking newb!!!!!"

UBS Board Room Member 1: "Let's buy them for $31 billion."

Yeah... it just doesn't seem plausible for some reason...

Well, they're making that other zombie game too. You know, the one where you can't move while shooting?

Compliance? Stock traders are in a league of their own. Much like CEO paychecks, they regulate themselves.
