Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is the cover athlete for this year's PlayStation-exclusive baseball series, MLB The Show. In addition to posing for the cover of the upcoming games, Pedroia donned a motion capture suit to help create a realistic look and feel for the game.
You can see him striking a pose, donning a glove, and wielding his bat in our gallery below. MLB 09 The Show arrives on every PlayStation system (PS2, PSP, PS3) next week.

I was listening to the new episode of PSNation with an interview of the MLB 09 devs (and Kyle Shubel about Killzone 2 :) ) and the game sounds pretty freaken awesome. Believe it or not, I might actually have to pick this one up.

Juan your logic makes no sense... Why would someone pay $60 for a football, basketball, soccer, or hockey game. There are millions who watch basball. It is still the most spectated sport in America and this game is great. I met someone from England who loves this game and will be getting it next week.
