Joyswag: Moon prize pack [update]

After receiving and reviewing it, our copy of Moon became lost in a box of, uh, other games waiting to be given away. Now that we've found it, we're making sure to not repeat the same mistake again. We're going to give it, as well as the extra styli and game cases that Renegade Kid hooked us up with, to one (1) lucky reader! Team Fortress 2. I can't stop playing.

Original Half-Life. So many hours . . .

Right now, what this guy said. TF2 all the way.

I've always liked David Doak's stuff, so I'd say probably Timesplitters: Future Perfect.

For single player, it's half-Life 2. For multiplayer, its Halo: Custom Edition.
Though I haven't played that many FPS games.

Hmm... I haven't played FPS's in the past, except maybe BioShock (unless it only counts as a FP Perspective, which I don't think it should).

While technically not a FPS, (Though I play it in first person view) Fallout 3 at the moment.

If you want me to be technical The original Halo has been spinning in my Xbox, and Doom 3 on my PC.

resistance 2 is my favorite FPS of all time because it brings a whole new meaning to the word co-op without a nother person or a few player at that lol u wont make it it 1 minute let alone a whole stage. an the single player mode is alsome aswell.

battlefield 1942

I've always been a big fan of Quake. The new Quake Live beta is super fun; I'm waiting in the queue as I type.

While not technically a FPS Fallout 3 has been consuming most of my time lately. Otherwise I'd say Halflife 2.

Perfect Dark, FTW!

The original Doom. First FPS I ever played, and I still find it as fun as the first time I played it.

Half-Life. The industry will never be the same and in many ways it has only been rivaled by its own successors

The original Halo for PC.

My favorite FPS? I'd say the first Call of Duty. I played many, many, many hours of that.

of all time, huh? Quake III Arena!

Followed up closely by Half Life 1

and i actually really loved Red Steel - one of the funnest FPS in a while.

Probably the original Doom as it set me up as the FPS fan I am today!

Day of Defeat: Source. Tons o' fun.

Favorite FPS, a tough call, I'd probably say System Shock 2. Bioshock, Thief 2: The Metal Age, Half-Life, Halo and Doom after that.

DS: Metroid Prime Hunters

favorite depends on the mood, time and place. the games that got me into the genre are wolfenstien 3D and marathon

The first Halo, it's what we played afer missions in Iraq, very "soothing"!

The Halo series. I've loved playing both the standalone play and the multiplayer.

Goldeneye 007. Hands down the best ever.

The original Doom, by far. Totally unique for its time and scared the living hell out of my 14 year old self.

For me it all goes back to Wolfenstein 3D. While no longer great visually, it was the one that kicked off my gaming addiction.

I say the first one I played Wolfenstein. I thought it was the coolest game at the time. We used to finish my electronics class early just to play a few rounds. Also we played a lot of Hexen also. That was great as well. The Nail gun was my weapon of choice.

That's easy, Max Payne! Duke Nukem 3D is prolly tied in second with Doom 2

Honestly, probably Call of Duty 1. I burned out on FPSes a long time ago, but I still like the WW1/2 ones. Second place would be Halo 1 before the introduction of the Flood.

I'm really not a huge FPS fan. I did enjoy RE4 and the Metroid Prime series though. And just for good measure I'm going to pull out a real gem that most people have never heard of... Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold.
