We could have easily gone for a more vulgar headline! Here's what Christian Svensson, Capcom's vice president of business development and strategic planning, actually said about the upcoming co-op shooter, Lost Planet 2: "Takeuchi's approach was, you know what we're not going to sit back on our laurels and just shit out a sequel, we're actually going to take it up five notches. We're not going to under invest in this, we're actually going to over invest in this, and we're going to build it bigger."
Speaking to VideoGamer.com, Svensson relayed Lost Planet 2 (and Resident Evil 5) producer Jun Takeuchi's overall vision as being one that keeps all of the original's best qualities in, while dismissing the lax ambitions of lazy sequel design. You might even catch a whiff of 2007's critically acclaimed Call of Duty 4, which Svensson says was a big hit among the Lost Planet team. "So I think you're going to see some influence from that sneaking in."
So, to sum all this crap up: Lost Planet 2 is promised to be the shit, but won't be shit out.

Yes, "shat" is a past tense of the verb "shit."
Does that make him a "twit" for writing it, and you a "twat" for pointing it out?
Oh by the way, punctuation always goes inside quotations.
Glass houses... yada yada.

I looked it up Luthyr... and it would appear that you are correct.

I thought about it, and Jose very well could've been asking a genuine question. In which case my response would justifiably be construed as harsh. I sincerely apologize if that's the case.
However, if he wasn't... my initial point stands. Why?
Why point out grammar mistakes in a forum? What's the point?
It reminds me of something the Sean Bateman character says in Bret Easton Ellis' "The Rules of Attraction."
"I won't go to bed with a girl if she can't or won't have an orgasm because then, what's the point? If you can't make a girl cum why even bother? That always seemed to me to be like writing questions in a letter."

Very cool that they are fans of CoD4 (I think RE5 devs said they were Gears fans, and look where that got them). That sprint feature will come in handy for sure.

Sounds too reassuring; obviously Lost Planet was no Halo, but I'm sure that it will be fine. Not excellent, but serviceable; I don't need your trip-over-heels reassuring to tell me that I will pick it up (or at least rent it).
Also, when it DOES bomb, they will seem like complete dicks.

What's your definition of bomb? LP Extreme Condition sold over 1 million copies. That seems successful. Colonies was an expansion of maps & weapons & I have no problem finding friends & matches playing online. I don't think LP was ever marketed as a Halo killer, so take your hands off your keyboard & put them back on the nuts of Bungie & continue sucking that delicious Halo protein.
Ahh now...you're comments are not excellent, but serviceable...be reassured of that.

I saw the trailer, and 2 looks light years ahead of where 1 was graphically. This might just become a must buy for me.

Only think I couldn't stand in Lost Planet was how enemies bounced weightless when killed... Totally destroyed the immersion.
