A new iPhone app by UIEvolution, named the "Trophy Guide," seeks to make your Trophy hunting life much easier by allowing you to access any game's Trophy list even when you're away from your computer and PS3. This is especially handy for when you want to ... um ... nope, we don't get it.
The application has no way of collecting your Trophy stats (which might actually be useful), either manually or automatically. Instead, it lists a game's Trophies, along with its image and collection requirements. Sure, it's pretty enough, but we don't really see the point in downloading an external app that simply downloads data from the net which can be revealed just as quickly by using the iPhone's web browser.

Really? Or is it that you don't see the point in downloading an app that takes away page hits from the lovely joystiq network trophy portal?

Then why make an article about it?

The Trophy Portal is fine and dandy, but allps3trophies.org is what I use to keep track of my trophies and that is easily accessible from my iPod Touch's web browser.

" just as quickly by using the iPhone's web browser" Just as quickly as using the browser to visit http://playstation.joystiq.com/trophies- Fixed.

I disagree with the comment about it being just as fast to look them up in the web browser, but I agree this is pretty freaking useless.

All I need is http://playstation.joystiq.com/trophies ...
Then again, an app that lets me brag about my trophies downloading the data from the PSN (on the go!) would be great though...
Would be grat to just to have THAT on my PSP, you read me SONY! want trophies on the go too!!
