This title is basically just a CG rendered mini game (God of War/Indigo Prophecy style) Push A when it pops up. X when it pops up. Did you miss? Start over.

First of all, there are no CG scenes in this game. Everything is rendered in real time, including the "God of War like" QTE scenes. And second, this game is actually a pretty damn good beat them all with a solid gameplay and some of the coolest boss fights I've seen in years (and that's without considering the mini-games used to finish them and serve as the icing on the cake).
How do I know that? Because the game and the demo have been available in Japan for several weeks and both can be played as imports already without having a JAP Xbox.

It's not a bad game just a little generic. But for people that like these type of games (I.e. Ninja gaiden, god of war) it might be worth picking up if you already finished Afro samurai and onechanbara bikini samurai squad.

The only people I could imagine ever finishing Onechanbara would maybe be reviewers, or the particularly masochistic. I mean, I know the testers didn't finish it since I had a gamekilling bug pop up in the first 15 minutes.
Also, fuck that game in the ear. It was like playing an uglier version of Too Human, except at least TH didn't bump you back to the beginning of the level every time you died. Plus, where the hell are my achievements?! I know I earned them because the game told me so. How come they didn't register on XBL?! Gah! Just thinking about that game makes me angry!

Oh man. Such an early release date gives me very little hope for this game. I'm kind of tired of the Ninjas-battling-demons genre. Ninja Gaiden owns that genre and they did such a dismal job with the playability of NG2.
Now, give me a working version of Tenchu and you got something... But "Ninja Blade"? Blech!

This game would have made a fair amount of money if it was on the PS3...but making it a 360 exclusive just doesn't make any sense, since it's basically just a shitty knockoff of Ninja Gaiden 2.

i have played Japanese version and i really liked it. the demo is terribly arranged. it doesn't convey any fun that final product has.
every single QTE is all real-rendered and 'Todome blow' QTE is especially satisfyin though you can't experience it in the demo. its really cool and...funny.

As much as I hate QTE's, From Software is an amazing dev, this game should at least be worth a rental. I really wish they'd just make an Otogi 3 though...
