Even when NoA had more leisure and willpower to port over more obscure games, Captain Rainbow probably wouldn't have come. A pipe-dream it shall remain, sadly enough

I have Captain Rainbow. What I've managed to bumble through seems like it's pretty fun, but since I can't read that crazy Japanese moon writing, I kinda gave up on it. I really should just make my girlfriend sit down and play it with me one of these days.

...but yeah...I wish NOA would at least set up a division that models itself after Atlus or Xseed so we could actually get these games.

Actually quite a bit to pick from here. I'm definitely happy I still have my GameFly account. There's no way I could afford to buy as much as I'd like to.

Wow... i guess it's just me but i think the majority of this list looks like shovelware garbage... Don't get me wrong, SOME of these games look interesting... but still... nothing worth dusting off the ol'Wii. Just gonna stick with my "Ball in a Cup" game, way more entertaining.

I hope Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus - whew - makes it over to Europe. It's supposed to be the definitive-definitive version of Guilty Gear XX. Well, that's what I read. Yeah, right.

I'm really excited for Q3 2010, when Nintendo plans to release "Personal Trainer: Autonomic Nervous System". Just can't seem to get this respiration thing down and I know my DS can show me the way!

This list overall makes me sad.

But I'm looking forward to Guilty Gear (I have never played it but have been wanting to try it) and maybe the Firefighter game (which will probably suck but, assuming it's mostly for little kids and their dads, it's good to see a game for boys that involves real world situations and jobs rather than fantasy stuff.)

And anything by Atlus because they're Atlus.

As much as I love my Wii I'm finding it really hard to get excited about that list.

Although the sheer glut of Atlus games on the DS makes up for it, if only a little.

"Stafy" sounded like an obscured disease, sure, but "Starfy" sounds like a dog yakkin'. Hrm... Maybe there just ISN'T a way to coat that little guy in some kind of aesthetically dominating light.

Holy crap! The Mario Power Tennis Wiimake is March 9th?? Whoa, gotta check THAT out! Missed it on the Cube.

Of course, I'll be real interested to see the Garfield's Pet Force game, as I read a number of the Pet Force books growing up.

Oh god, I remember Garfield's Pet Force! It was this weird-ass series of books they put out where Garfield and everyone (except Jon) got sucked into this alternate universe where they became superheroes to replace this team that all got killed. And there was an alternate Jon who was the emperor and an alternate Liz who was the supervillain.

Those books were so fucking insane, this might be worth looking at.

Yeah, so maybe 2 Wii games, Conduit and Indiana Jones (for the bonus Scumm Indiana game) I want there, 3 games if Punchout is any good. And maybe, just maybe Boom Blox is it controls a bit better than the first one (too often did the controls just go wonky on me during critical times, which is ashame because aside from the somewhat frequent control screw ups - the game was awesome.)

The Wii-Play controls are a bit of a disappointment, only because I've played them on Gamecube (Yes, I own Jungle Beat and it's wicked fun!). I'd like to try Pikmin though... and hopefully if it sells well, it'll justify a third Pikmin, which will be a day one purchase for me (hint hint, Nintendo).

Wow, good call, never heard of that game, which is odd cause usually I'm pretty up on the games coming out.

Though visually the games a bit young looking, hopefully the gameplay can appeal to an older audience like myself which according to IGN, it should.

Dang I am loving Atlus' upcoming releases for the DS at the very least.

Can't wait for some moar SUPER ROBOT TAISEN!

There are some other good looking games on the list too but I'm thinking Atlus' DS list is teh win.

This isnt a complete list of games is it?..

The two MOST promising games, Little kings story and Rune Factory Frontier are absent from this list (though maybe thier publisher isnt listed here)... If those were the only two games coming out for the wii the first half of 09 I woudlnt mind, thats how much Im looking forward to em.

Toss in Punch out, Madworld, The Conduit, Overkill, Bloom Box, Wii sports Resort and the first half year feels fine to me..

Then theres the 4-5 titles out for the 360 I need to get.

Im not seeing what people are complaining about. The second half of last year I saw it, not this year though.

i don't think it's the complete list as Tiger Woods golf is in it and EA has said they will use the Wiimotion+. I expect Wii Sports Resort to come out before or slightly after E3. S+P 2 also isn't listed and It remember them saying it would be a Spring 09 release.

I'm disappointed that Prof. Layton isn't listed there, otherwise it's a decent list.

Holy crap! For me, that list is one big disappointment. The only thing interesting to me on that list is Punch Out, Conduit (which honestly could potentially, but hopefully not, end up being a big disappointment), and Klonoa. But, I'd be FAR more interested in Sin & Pun 2, Cave Story, or Pikmin 3 (no interest in buying the same Pikmin 1 all over again just to play w/ waggle). Other than that, I don't really see anything on the horizon that's keeping me interested. :*(
C'mon Nintendo, you're worrying me here!
Is it just me or does it seem like Nintendo's getting a little lazy, since the Wii prints money and all. It's almost like they don't care anymore. But I know that can't be the case, since the Wii is still a hot item.
