Really? That's the only way I'd play it. If I wanted to play a boxing game with traditional controls, I'd get Fight Night 4 instead.

I like Brawl, Fenix, but I think it's rotten that people are downrating you for expressing your opinion (and you weren't a jerk about it so there's really no excuse for people to wail on you just because you're not a blind Nintendo slave.)
Punch Out!! will be awesome with or without waggle. But if only it had wii-motion plus... Maybe it's a bonus feature for later?

Wii Sports Resort is conspicuously absent from this list, though Nintendo might think that game big enough to save an announcement for a later date, so Motion Plus is probably off the table at this point. Also absent is Sin & Punishment 2

All that I ask is NO nunchuk controls. Please. EVERYONE has 2 or 4 wiimotes, just make the first and second "player" wiimotes the right and left hand. Nunchuck is worthless for punching. Motion plus? Even better. All I want out of the wii is 1:1 punching.

It could still have motion plus, even without the Wii Resort coming out. Whatever team develops Punchout probably has access to the technology, so it could still be implemented even if the hardware isn't available at launch.

usually release dates from nintendo = the date plus another 3 months delay
I can't believe people on here would want the new punch out with regular controls,
motion controls is the appeal of the wii, not analog sticks.
I'll stick to my 360 for non-motion games, thanks.....
