This DLC is among the most cool I've seen. Very nice.
Billy @ Feb 26th 2009 6:18PM
This game has amazing DLC, first Fantasy Factory now this!
fantastic dan @ Feb 26th 2009 6:21PM
hell yeah, buying it now.
giantenemycrab @ Feb 26th 2009 6:24PM
I kid you not, I was just thinking about Skate 2 and I was wishing they would release some of the skate 1 map. I am not lying. Then I happened to click on Joystiq and I saw this. Freaky.
jarhead906 @ Feb 26th 2009 6:29PM
You're lying.

Now wish I had a million dollars!
Better yet (For you people not for me) Wish for a new Shadowman game!
Vitamin A @ Feb 26th 2009 6:24PM
Wow, almost like having two games in one.
MillRecover @ Feb 26th 2009 6:31PM
This game is so good.
Yami @ Feb 26th 2009 7:12PM
Well, this means I can definitely trade in Skate 1 for sure.
punchdotorg @ Feb 26th 2009 6:35PM
For me, Skate 2 is that game where I find myself sitting down to play for just a hour and end up playing for more then 3 hours. However I can't bring myself to buy the DLC when I'm not even close to being bored with the standard map.
willie @ Feb 26th 2009 6:43PM
looks like i'm going to eclipse the 80ish hours logged in skate 1... :D
VaultICEE @ Feb 26th 2009 6:51PM
I was thinking about picking up Skate 1 and 2 (I've never played either, but not looking back at it, it looks like two gems I've messed), but now with this coming out should I just skip the first game and buy this DLC for the second one?
DCBlack @ Feb 27th 2009 12:54AM
I would say probably yes. I'm probably going to trade in Skate 1 now.
Emophia @ Feb 27th 2009 11:52AM
And get $2 for it?
Whatever.
JeffM @ Feb 26th 2009 6:52PM
I've never bought any DLC ever. This will be my first- I loved the added controls of skate 2, but thought the level design of skate. was much better and slightly more realistic. This is awesome!
Deaddy @ Feb 26th 2009 6:58PM
Last week's Skate 2 add-on included achievements for 360 but no trophies for PS3. If they don't add trophies for both packs today I'm not buying either. Why should I support them when then don't support PS3 users? I bet if trophies weren't mandatory for full games they wouldn't have included them on the disc release either. If they do add them today then I'll take back what I just said.
JeffM @ Feb 26th 2009 7:25PM
Because things like trophies and achievements are silly baubles and not really part of a game's experience?
Deaddy @ Feb 26th 2009 8:59PM
No, because I'm pissed off that they delivered a substandard product on PS3 with Skate 1, did the same thing again with Skate 2, no custom soundtrack for PS3, now no trophies for the DLC. I don't feel like giving them any more money. Other companies go the extra mile for their customers, these guys are doing the bare minimum and I'm not gonna reward them for it.
Sokkratez @ Feb 26th 2009 9:24PM
This is a great pack so far. Still skating the Community Center, several geometry changes have been made so that the area flows better. There's now an extra drop-in spot for the reservoir on the opposite end of the old drop-in spot, in the middle of the bank with the fence on top.
Game_playa @ Feb 26th 2009 9:29PM
Skate 2 is out? Didn't even notice this one
Odog4ever @ Feb 27th 2009 11:47AM
This is awesome. I was surprised by how much area we got for $5 in the Fantasy Factory DLC. I hope we keep getting more similarly price content over the course of the next year. A hall of meat themed area would be awesome (Similar to the bowling/darts section of the first Flatout game)
Note to all Joystiq writers: You know you can put the xbox.com link for DLC in you stories right? Then do it!
juan.the.apostate @ Feb 28th 2009 2:42PM
skate 2 is honest to god one of the worst games I've every played.. skate simple wipes the floor with it. the controls, ui, and graphics are all significantly WORSE in the sequel.. that aside, this dlc looks promising for all those that missed out on the game first time round.
Deck @ Feb 28th 2009 2:48PM
What the hell are you smoking?
Deck @ Feb 28th 2009 2:48PM
More Skate 2 DLC, yay! I loved those spots in the first one, this is great news and the $5 price tag makes it EVEN better! Be picking this up as soon as I grab some more points!
