Actually - by virtue of the fact that I'm not the first one to bring it up (It was Joystiq itself) ... that "issue" was enough for me to not want to get this add-on. I'm not even such a big GTA fan to begin with, so I was never GAGA over this or anything.

I knew this would be big when I saw it advertised on TV.

I'd rather have Saints Row 2 DLC, I'm not holding my breath though.

Does anyone find that the video looks grainy on HD sets?

The video grain is an added effect for the expansion to make it dirtier.
I like the idea in theory but it's not perfect.
You can turn it off to make look like the standard GTA4. I left it on.

It's definitely there somewhere. I thought it was interesting, but I turned it off myself.

It'd be nice if it wasn't so buggy - mine locks up a lot - but I finished it anyway. It's short, but good.

Hmm possibly a hard drive problem than. GTA4 will stream form disc, but the expansion plays fully from your hard drive.
You have other games installed on it to compare other games ?

Since I finally got my 360 back, I'll definitely pick this up. Glad to see that there are in fact plenty of people willing to go back into the world of GTAIV.

I wonder if they'll make back the money they paid for exclusive DLC.

What was it, 50 million?

GTA IV and the DLC are both so disappointing to me, the game engine, controls and city are so amazing, but they really blew it with what you actually do in the game. I was hoping this expansion would focus on more fun things, but instead they just eliminated the whole cab ride factor, and now the hardest part of the game is riding across the city without the crazy drivers knocking you off your bike. If I were making DLC for this game I would have made it a zombie based game where the NPCS were infected. I still love free roaming through the city, but the actual gameplay no me gusta.

I sense where you are coming from. I like those genres as well. At the same time it's like saying the movie Heat sucked because there was no zombies. The targeted a certain genre with the game. I wanted to play some silly stuff like that on the side in SR2, but couldn't overcome the controls and bland presentation of the city.

Now making a zombie survival game in the vein of dead rising in a city the scale and quality of Liberty, would be interesting, but it should be a proper project, and not just tacked on.

On the side, is driving the bike really that difficult for you ? I go speed maxed out on choppers around the city all the time. Stopped using cars at all, sport bikes get a bit fast and hard to control at extreme speeds, but that's a choice. I tend to avoid them and go for the smooth controls of the Hexer or Lycan.

I feel u kane
The friends got annoying after a while but the knowledge reward in the end made it worth it and I ended up kind of having fun. Especially with Kiki Jenkins that was the most hilarious person in the game fro me. She was such a desperate whore. But what I hated about GTA4 was that after the story there's nothing to do. You get bored and the physics can only entertain you for so long. For gta sa on the other hand the fun started after the story! it was epic! crazy!

Now I heard SR2 was good and similar 2 gta sa so I decided to give it a chance. I bought it and I played the 1st 30 minutes and the gameplay, graphics and controls were HORRIBLE! Completely unbearable specially because I had just played gta 4 20 minutes ago. I hoped it got better and that I would get used to it. After two hours, I was soo pissed at the game for feeling so wrong and then I find out that I have to get points before I can start a mission. I just returned it before I got mad enough to break my 360
