Lol, probably some pissed off DS users that cooking mama's going to be so much cheaper on the iPhone and actually have more content.

Seriously. I'm glad I didn't purchase PuzzleQuest for my DS. You can get the full game for 8 bucks on iTunes.

There are honestly only a handful of must have iPhone games that rival DS/PSP games, but they're damn fun and nicely priced.

I would get space invaders, but i have the Storm so that's not an option... I wish they would hurry up with the "app store".

@Naeem

Which games might you consider "must haves" for the iPod touch? I'd play more games on it if there weren't so much crap to filter through.

Well, like I said before, PuzzleQuest is taking up a huge amount of my time.

Also, check these out:

Rolando
iDracula
Simcity
Blue Attack
Asphalt 4
Fieldrunners

If you're into RPG's:

Vay
Chronicles of Inotia

And I personally love Tetris on the iPhone.

The original Space Invaders with big-fat-finger-on-a-touchscreen control for only five bucks? Brilliant.

As I understand it, the version of Puzzle Quest that's currently available on the App Store is not the full version, only the first Chapter (of three I believe). So you still may end up paying $30 to get the same, complete version that's on the DS.

I did hear that they're giving the second chapter away as a free upgrade to those who purchased chapter 1, so it still may turn out to be a decent deal, or at least in budget DS territory ($20).

Glad to see that paid apps movement for Android is helping developers jump on board. Android needs this sort of support to make it a good competitor with not just the App Store, but also with Nokia's newly announced 'Nokia Applications' as well as their N-Gage service.

"T-Mobile users will be able to pick up Arkanoid and Space Invaders now for $5.99 each."

Or... not? It's not showing up in the Market at all right now. I'm definitely grabbing them for Android because of the awesome return policy (and using a touch screen with Space Invaders seems iffy).
