When British Taekwondo competitor Tyrone Robinson steps off the mat and picks up a controller, it's all part of his training. The London 2012 Olympic hopeful practices Hadoukens and Tiger Knees in his daily down time playing Street Fighter IV, an exercise the athlete claims speeds up his reflexes and sharpens his mind.
Even Robinson's coaches are getting in on the act, encouraging the fighter in his Street Fighter pursuits, and while Robinson himself suspects that he'll never be able to throw fireballs he "can still try some of the crazy kicks they do." We'll be keeping a keen eye on Robinson when the Olympics come around, hoping to catch a glimpse of the athlete as he Hurricane Kicks his way to a medal. Heck, if swimmers can do it, why not him?

Just a heads-up: If he's losing a match and suddenly the lights dim and some evil-lookin' kanji characters hit the screen, there's about to be some bad-ass stuff going on.
Followed, probably, by disqualification.

Haven't play it but I'm sure that if its anything like Rage in MK there most be ways to avoid it also if you made your opponent hit that you are probably winning anyway.

I think as long as people realize that good game of pong will help him train as much as Street Fighter, it's all good. Hand to eye coordination is in there and training your mind to react.
Trying to imitate moves of anime characters is hard.
I'm still working on my double knee press, but every time i charge back, i fall over backwards. Can't figure the launching myself forward part.

If only I could find a game that would train me to cry and eat more efficiently while I drown my sorrows in Cookie Dough Ice Cream, that would be bomb.

I can see how it would help sharpening the reflexes and also learning to anticipate oppenants moves and choosing the right time to attack. Its as relevent in a real fight except without the fireballs

Bison's called Vega in Japan. Also, Vega's called Barlog, and Barlog's M. Bison. Basic name swap.

It's awlays been like that. The lest boss from SF2, that's Vega, the boxer was M Bison, the guy with the claw, that's Balrog.
The reason they changed the names in the US was a concern that there would be a lawsuit since M Bison the Boxer was sort of fashioned after Mike Tyson. Changing the names pushed that resemblance out of the picture.

That would be badass if he won his gold-medal fight with a shoryuken. And actually screamed it too.
