So, you've got $2 burning a hole in your pocket and you want to calculate money you only wish you had? Well DSi users, you're in luck with a nifty calculator. But, the convenience doesn't end there. The application utilizes sound effects and visuals from Super Mario Bros. If you think about it, it's a really smart idea! For years we've been joking that the DS prints money, but now the DSi can count it, too. Oh, technology ... where would we be without you? Check out a video of the application in action after the break.

What's that second screen for, when Mario is the right of the pipe?

I bought the Animal Crossing version.
@ rTwelve: The second screen is the "Units Conversion" screen. You can select from the following:
Length (centimeters, meters, kilometers, inches, feet, yards, miles, Japanese units)
Weight/Mass (grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds, carats, tons, Japanese units)
Volume (milliliters, liters, cubic meters, ounces, gallons, barrels, cups, Japanese units)
Time (seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, years, centuries)
Area (square meters, square feet, square yards, square miles, hectares, acres, Japanese units)
Speed (meters/s, meters/m, kilomters/h, light speed, feet/s, miles/h, knots, mach)
Temperature (centigrade, Farenheit, Kelvin)
Age (human, cats, small dogs, large dogs, hamsters, parakeets, rabbits, horses)

So the DSi supports custom apps? Nice!
I would buy this, why I do not know. Must be the nostalgia.

I guess you're paying for the fact that its a Mario calculator... not just a calculator calculator. Pretty nice though, my co-workers would get a kick out of it if they started hearing Mario jumps when I count out my register.

Eh, I wish it was free, but it's a great moneymaking ploy.

Since there aren't many utility apps available for the DSI, I'm excited to download the Mario calculator when it's released. What I would really like to see is a PDF viewer application for the DSi. That would really make the system useful for other things than just playing games and messing around with the camera.
