Pokemaniacs: grab Regigigas at Toys R Us this month

Toys R Us is holding another of its periodic Pokémon giveaways next week. If you're still playing Diamond and/or Pearl (or if you want to load up for Platinum), bring your DS and game to a local TRU between March 8 and March 21, and you can pick up the "Colossal Pokémon" Regigigas.

If you are planning on getting Platinum, a Regigigas might be a worthwhile provision. According to the news item, having a Regigigas in your party in Platinum causes Regice, Regirock, and Registeel to appear periodically in Sinnoh. Can you really sit by while Pokémon go uncaught? See you at TRU.

If you already have Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, you can get the other regis anyway.
If you have the other Regis, you can unlock Regigigas in D/P

Uhhhhh what? Using a key to unlock keys to the key you...my brain hurts.

It's a move to remove adv requirements.... if you have a DSi you're SOL unless you get this specific regigigas.

Technically that's not Giygas in the second picture if that's what you're making a reference to. It's Giegue from Mother 1. Giygas looks like a twisted red blob.

Yeah, but storywise, I'm pretty sure they're the same person.

Actually, *only* this TRU Regigigas that will unlock the other Regi's in Platinum. The Regigigas you captured in D/P by having Regirock, Regiice and Registeel will NOT unlock them in Pearl. Once you have them, then you can capture a Regigigas in Platinum at level 1.

I meant, The Regigias you captured in D/P (by having Regirock, Regiice and Registeel) will NOT unlock them in *PLATINUM.*

March 8th and March 21st, eh? I don't know where TRU is near my college, but part of that span of time is in my Spring Break, and i do know where a TRU is near me.

Speaking of Regigigas, I'd like to see it to have another ability in Platinum, seeing how its D/Pearl ability nerfs this Legendary.

uhh, how about another shot at Darkrai...I missed him the first time around! I understand the whole get rid of advance game thing...but c'mon! At least have a Manaphy to go with...I don't wanna buy a $30 DS game just for one measly legendary.

hey dorian, sorry about your game being stolen, i my ruby was stolen and i had every pokemon you could get, legit, all contest beaten, every done, over 400 hours put into that game (i had a lot of free time at work). they even took my sp. anyway, if you reply to my message below yours (next week), and if i get the pokemon when the game comes out, ill trade it over for ya, as i have diamond and pearl, so wont mind giving you one of mine.

thanks a lot Rhamsey! however, a buddy of mine is gonna let me borrow his 'copy' of pokemon. He has an ezflash cartage and make a copy the pokemon rom so it's 'my own' copy and then trade it to me that following day.

ive been doing this for years now. everytime i get out of a pokemon, a new one comes out, and i have to get it. hell, i still remember making my parents drive me and some friends an hour and a half away, to get mew.
those were the days.

fail... I was using a password saver and it made that comment.
anyway. I remember awaking up 5am to goto TRS to get my mew for my copy of yellow on black friday. still amazed that i talked my parents to driving us down there
