PixelJunk packed 3-in-1 trunk for Asia

The PSN PixelJunk series will be bundled in the PixelJunk 3in1 Pack for the Asian market, reports Siliconera. The bundle will include Racers, Monsters and Eden. All games have English or Japanese language options, but there's no word yet if the disc includes the Monsters expansion or the Eden soundtrack.

Although we've yet to hear back from Sony Europe, Sony America let us know that it has no "official announcements at this time about the PixelJunk series." If the region didn't deserve a hard copy for Siren: Blood Curse's 9 gigglebytes, what chance does PixelJunk have? Ending on a good note: at least PS3 games aren't region locked.

[Update: Q Games president Dylan Cuthbert confirmed to Joystiq that this PixelJunk pack is Asia-only. "Right now, this special bundle is for Asia only."]

I would buy this. It is a shame, if it isn't available in the US.

Did you not read it."at least PS3 games aren't region locked" thus. it is available any were. The internet is a wonderful place.

umm not to be a dick but... Get a psn card and then there u go or just use ur credit card if your old enough.

I would have to create a Japan PSN wouldn't I and then keep that profile on my ps3 to be able to keep it?

If that is the case... I don't really want to do it.

OR you could just buy and download the games from the (in your case, US) PS Store separately...like everyone else has done already. This disc-based pack is for the Asian market because for some reason they are very hesitant to buy downloadable games.

It's a hard copy, rather than a download.

Or you could just get the download versions from the US store.

I'd much rather have games, especially casual titles like these, run off the internal HD anyhow. I find I play these games far more often than ones that require me to get my lazy ass up and put a disc in the PS3...

interesting. i really liked monsters, and i if i didn't have it and wanted monsters, i would probably just get all three. nice to see more packaged deals coming around, granted this one isn't in the states or europe but hey, maybe its a sign of good packed deals to come for psn users
