EA Montreal to announce new game on March 12

Extending this post would only lead to rampant and inevitably spurious speculation, so we'll just let you take a guess at what this mystery title could be.

Well seeing as how some Journalists are receiving Army Of Two shirts in the mail, its pretty obvious what it is.
kcha @ Mar 4th 2009 4:02PM
what happened to army of 2: coop boogaloo?
BigD145 @ Mar 4th 2009 4:02PM
Is that a "terrorist fist jab?"
Dirty @ Mar 4th 2009 4:03PM
Army of Two 2: Ballet of Destruction.
PSN: HinchyFC @ Mar 4th 2009 4:10PM
Did anyone besides me notice Dead Space Boogie on that list? That game would kick all kinds of asses.
Dirty @ Mar 4th 2009 4:21PM
Yo have to waggle your limbs off.
Maverick Saturn @ Mar 4th 2009 4:14PM
Silly Ludwig, don't you know the next is to be called either army of three or four not army of two 2 :)
DBuck_Eye @ Mar 4th 2009 6:39PM
They could go the Dangeresque route: Army of Two: Army of Three?
greg (peevmyster) @ Mar 4th 2009 4:16PM
I wouldn't mind another army of two, but we deffinately need another SSX game, those were some freakin fun games.
Farmer @ Mar 4th 2009 4:39PM
Agreed, I'd waste hours on them.
They were craaazzzy fun.
SSX Tricky was the best IMO
greg (peevmyster) @ Mar 4th 2009 4:42PM
Oh yea, i loved Tricky, actually more than ssx3, those were the only 2 i played though. I liked when you got your boost up and it played "it's tricky", still one of my favorite RUN-DMC songs.
JerJer @ Mar 4th 2009 5:28PM
i looooved tricky to death. ssx3 was pretty fun too.
but i absolutely adored on tour.
it got critically panned (comparatively) but it was all the over the top fun of tricky sloshed right onto the continuity of ssx3's mountain (obviously a new mountain though). pure speed, tricks, and snowball throwing :)
joeybeast @ Mar 4th 2009 4:22PM
Army of Two 2
baconaholic @ Mar 4th 2009 4:26PM
There hasn't been a new SSX in a long time, so that's my guess.
Chris Taylor @ Mar 4th 2009 4:41PM
I'd Army of Two 2 only because it would suddenly be the greatest Ballet game of all time... (Army of Tu Tu...)
Hyams @ Mar 4th 2009 4:52PM
That's punny. =)
The Dark Wayne @ Mar 4th 2009 5:36PM
PUUUNNNNS!!!!
j.howlett @ Mar 4th 2009 4:35PM
ea just price dropped a bunch of games. i was thinking of getting a couple copies of army of 2
Megadanxzero @ Mar 4th 2009 4:42PM
Yeah, I wouldn't mind a 360 SSX actually... Don't disappoint me EA!
Also, demonstrating it on the 9th and announcing it on the 12th? Sounds like a stupid idea... SOMEONE will tell us what it is on the 9th...
Phil @ Mar 6th 2009 2:35AM
Sweet christ, I hope it is too. On Tour sucked and nothing has captured the awesomeness since SSX3.
Seriously EA, just go BACK to that game, make new mountains, board, tracks and whatnot, AND I WILL BE HAPPY.
Don't include skis, DOESN'T EVEN NEED ONLINE (though take the Shaun White concept of free play on the slopes if you do... You know, running races when you want, attempting to nail tricks, etc...), JUST CHANGE IT BACK ALREADY.
Don't kill this series like you have Burnout by removing all the fun-ness and trying to make it hardcore.
Joe @ Mar 4th 2009 5:11PM
I like it when publishers/studios announce the announcement of a new game.
In A World (XBL) @ Mar 4th 2009 5:29PM
Established Franchise Kart Racing FTW!
ComicShaman @ Mar 4th 2009 5:34PM
SSX would be my choice, so long as they undo the mistakes they made in the vast and terrible betrayal that was On Tour. The first three games were each a delight, and I would be happy this day to pop them in my system and play for a few hours any time.
Odd that the franchise has been allowed to lay fallow for so long, but if it lets them come back with another good game, it'll be worth it.
Codex @ Mar 4th 2009 6:55PM
SSX 3 was the perfect game for the series
all ones that follow were shithouse
no matter how you look at it
Nathan @ Mar 4th 2009 5:40PM
If they go with another SSX game, they should definitely return to the series' roots in terms of style. I wasn't a fan of what they did with On Tour, not to mention the fact that the characters were soulless compared to their predecessors.
J.Goodwin @ Mar 4th 2009 6:20PM
Army of Two 2 Please :D
WiredKnight @ Mar 4th 2009 6:29PM
I'm guessing its SSX, from the hints in Burnout Paradise....
Baby J Penn (PSN johnnynumber5) @ Mar 4th 2009 6:32PM
I would be down for an army of two sequel. I must have been one of the few who actually liked the game. I thought it was awesome though it could refine the melee combat and build a better multiplayer experience this time around.
Wickedneoq @ Mar 5th 2009 12:02AM
Road Rash: Finally Next-Gen.
