sadly, and i guess strangely, this news didn't pique my interest in this title at all. Mainly because I know NFS is just imitating better racing franchises. ( which is not inherently a bad thing, I guess)

This news just makes me miss the PGR franchise while at the same time makes me curious as to what turn 10 is up to with Forza 3.

GRID looks with Forza depth, sounds like an interesting proposition, its nice to read the feedback about realistic AI fighting for position, the thing i loved about GRID was how it actually made me feel like i was in a race, except for those compulsory Le Mans Races

Lets hope EA restore pride to the series.....

This series needs a break. Not ANOTHER reboot. I don't want the series to die, I secretly have a crush on the NFS series...it just needs a little break

All I see is Porsches (and a ton of them too), Corvettes, Paganis and a few Audis. Am I to assume there's no tuners or muscle cars anymore? Just full blown racers?

I'm definitely holding out for Forza 3, 2 was one of my favorite games. I don't know what to think of this. I liked Most Wanted because it wasn't a sim (plus, I never got tired of laughing at Razor). I'll have to rent this one first to see what I think. If it's good, I'll grab it along with 3, otherwise, I might finally go out and buy Grid.

(it may have this already, but:)
they need to add::::
Cops in that use road blocks and spike strips, Helicopters that shoot missiles and drop bombs, an option to make my car indestructible, race on actual roads with civilian drivers that you don't notice til you smashed into them, crazy unrealistic jumps that make the cops crash...

What happened to this series?
I will stick with "Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2"

*I have not played any other NFS since the third one*

That sounds like NFS Undercover... sadly it also has extreme catch-up by the AI and the cops, you can go flatout in the Bugatti Veyron and then a police van catches up with you...

ProStreet and Undercover were just 'yuck'. I'm still playing Most Wanted. This does look good, but so did Undercover.

They just need to bring the Underground series back and stop trying with these useless other series. Are they really that dumb and blind?

I remembered that I had to keep 'repairing' the damages, and got myself broke. LOL. Sweet times..

It sounds like the people in these comments hate (or at least don't understand) cars or car racing. People in every other forum that I've visited are totally stoked about this game because the team that are making it have an awesome reputation.

For all of the "OMFG, I ams teh leet racer!" people, this probably isn't the game for you...
