Video: A Boy and His Blob in action

Apparently there were other BAHB games from previous consoles. I may or may not have played them when I was younger, can't remember. But this seems like something that will actually get me to turn on my Wii since Mario Kart. *sigh*

My mom and I used to play the original for hours back in the day. Hopefully this new one will bring back all the old flavors, possibly some new ones too.

I'm so pissed at myself for losing the original NES cartridge. Still, this is welcome news!

Unfortunately looks a bit slow. To activate your blobs ability you have to first select the ability type (aka determine what to feed your blog), then move to the location to activate it, then use it, and then call him once you're done. I think it might be served better by removing the whole feeding process and just letting you activate the abilities as necessary and once you've used them put your blog on auto-follow.

Does the blob remind anyone else of Squishface?

Yes, but can you turn him into the useless brick wall like in the original??

I'm really interested in whether they'll do this game justice. The original was one of the most memorable games of my youth.

Wow, so the music is the same too? It sounds great.

Footage a little bit boring, but the developers are far from done. The music is outstanding. Reminded me a lot of Super Paper Mario in some spots. Thats an absolute plus.

I hope the gameplay gets spiced up a little bit.
