Ah, that boxart is pretty funny.

By the way, does anyone else on Joystiq go to TCNJ?

That Baiden Baiden box art is too great. It's all I can do not to burst out laughing and tip everyone off that I'm browsing Joystiq at work.

lmao, that box art actually looks like an authentic Japanese game.

Oh and thanks for the brush of fame last week Justin.

Unfortunately, I'm not a Ninjician.

Still working on a degree for that! =P

So now, not unlike Iron Man's vomit helmet, I'll only think of Justin as a man covered in hemmoroids. I appreciate that.

I pictured the game as "Biden! Biden! You're the Light!", as in the new VP. Somehow, it's a little less funny now :(

To let the Killjoy know, the Merchant-Off was featured at the end of episode 58 (The Merchant-Off Edition), from July 25/08.

I hope something can be set up for a live Joystiq show at PAX. I will be there anyway, so it would be awesome to get to meet some members of the crew in person.

Wow, that was freaking long. But in a good way.

So, Chris, about how you were saying you're better at maps because of games, you can orient yourself better in new places because of games, etc. etc., there's also the idea that you're just *naturally* better at those things, and that's why you ended up gravitating towards games in the first place. Similarly, people who just aren't naturally as good at orienting themselves will tend to stick to other forms of entertainment. Basically, it's not that games improve those skills, but instead it's that because those skills are good, you like to test yourself and use those skills by playing games.

Now, I'm not sure if I really subscribe to that idea, but it's interesting nonetheless. Either way, though, I think it's pretty well known than gamers typically do have better skills in game-related areas than non-gamers. It's just a matter of why...

What about the PC version of Puzzle Quest Galactrix? The DS version isn't the only one, but it's the only version I hear about crappy load times on.

As I said on the JPAG, it's not that hard. You just have to subscribe to the Joystiq feed then open the video tab and hit subscribe there then activate the link you get in an email and then download the proper codec.

Simple really.

More two hour+ 'casts please.

The sex advice (and inevitable puns, shame Ludwig wasn't around for that) were pure comedy gold.

Justin, you said that playing RE5 might have made you more racist. Do you think that it might be because you've been playing 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand recently? I've been playing it, and it's a lot of fun, but I have to say, if there's anything that enforces black stereotypes in my mind, it's BotS.
